Have you actually looked at the sales though?

It sold 22.000 copies in its first week. It's the second-lowest sales for a no. 1 album ever XD. In total it sold 50.000 copies. Plus that is her ALBUM, not her single.

I love her, but Beni isn't even close to becoming a minor obstacle for Perfume, like ever.

That's what I was worried about at first but it seems like Avex can't even make up their minds on this matter. An early August release would've been announced by now so I'm banking on either late August or early September.

Well its official that Perfume won't be getting #1. Some old guy, masaharu fukuyama, is releasing on the 11th....his last single sold 151,000 copies in the first week (although that was back in Dec.)....

sorry, i started the masaharu talk with my post above. i was just having a sense of humor...:rolleyes if you've noticed my recent post, i still spoke about perfume and kept the masaharu information in a spoiler, so it really shouldn't bother anyone.

I'd just be happy with a CM or a preview of the PV for now. This is my first time following a Perfume release so when is it normal for CM's/song leaks/PV premiere and all that jazz?

The PV probably won't be out until a week before the single is out :/

i'd say at least 2 or 3 weeks before the release date. fushizen-na girl's PV was uploaded on april 1st, i remember. but the natural ni koishite PV came out in march :P

You think Fukuyama's a threat? Here's another threat - TOKIO... Not another Johnny's artist - but I don't know if they're going to do as well as in the previous, as TOKIO has been struggling a bit... But for Perfume fans, now they've got another competitor - not only Masaharu Fukuyama, but another Johnny's artist - it seems that Johnny's taking much of the summer time action, except for Ayu and YUI...

But for you guys who are concerned, well too bad. You've got another concern - TOKIO is quite another potential threat, but we'll have to see... (TOKIO - NaNaNa (Taiyo nante irane))
