I'm blasting the preview/shortversion/whateveritis over and over. I really don't wanna grow tired of it till the full thing drops but i can't help it. I'm so in love with this song <3

Some of you seem to have forgotten how game introduction songs are usually more than 3 minutes, tops, if they're used in the actual game. Kind of like abbreviated anime opening/ending songs.

Also idk why so many of you are complaining about them charging for a preview. avex is not in the business of giving you stuff for free. NO company is. Stop with the entitlement.

The theme song of the game is "Song 4 u", not just this 2 minutes part :eh:
What they released is just the short mix used for the trailer of the game. I mean, of course I was expecting the full song, they said they were going to release a digital single on iTunes, I've NEVER seen anyone releasing half (or less) of a song on there (especially not her), so how would've we known...

Yeah it would've been early but that's not really the problem. They announced a digital single on iTunes and they're releasing a 2 minutes version, that's pretty ridiculous imo :rolleyes

take a theme song from an anime for example. We shall say Sailor Moon. It's like what... 1:30? Thats not the full version on the song... it's like what? 3:00 minutes?

The longer version is the full song.
So for the tales game and for itunes its labeled xillia2 version or something like that.

We were never going to get the full version. Granted it wasn't told to us like that from the beginning, but I think it was a given since we are dealing with game information right now... not ayumi information.

The one who said that a digital single'll be release is a fan not Avex. Avex only announced that the theme song'll be available on iTunes.

Just by reading "theme song", SORRY but I thought it would've been the full song, like, what, 99% of the people here ? :laugh
When I read they'd release the theme song of ToX2, I obviously didn't even think ONCE it would just be the snippet of the trailer :rolleyes I just thought they wanted to release the full thing without sharing the title already.

"Song 4 U -XILLIA Vers-" is the same as any other OST song, example : OP for Naruto / Bleach~~it's not longer than 2.30mins~~

Kind of wondering what the original mix will sound like.

It's not really a digital single so much as a 'digital release' of the trailer cut of the song.

And the song seems to fit the 'choices that weave the future' theme of the game.

I just think a lot of people were expecting a digital single when it was announced as a release.
It could just have been one of those lost in translation things.

It also seems that avex just wanted to do a last minute, 'lets see how much money we can make off of this.'

I really dont think avex (which is not a surprise) planned anything for this.
I dont know why, but after so many years it seems like they just dont care anymore...
Or they are spending all their time on newer 'products'.

Why is this song perfect? I'm so...proud of her.

It's very generic.. but at least it's easy on the ears. There's just nothing interesting about it so far. Waiting for full to judge it better. Not sure why so many people are saying it's amazing so far. The lyrics seem nice though. :)

As generic as Progress, but also equally catchy <3

but personally, I rather wait for a longer cut for the song than a 2 minute take.
