Imagine this album has few new songs with Zutto... , Last Minutes, Walk and few old songs. That can sell well.

I am super curious for this album, I love Ayu's classic versions and I'm sure She won't disappoints this time.
I would die if she do a classical version of XOXO

I don't see how that could turn out well. Classical music is pretty serious and elegant and the lyrics of that song would sound awkward. That's like asking for a classical version of "Turn Down For What" by lil Jon. Lol.

^I was referring to die in a bad way haha, I wouldn't like that neither. I'm not good at sarcasm...but it just came to my mind, it would be interesting though

I don't know if you guys remember that album Sweetbox (ETERNITY) had out with the song Wonderful World and such, but I thought it was a very interesting concept... Even SEAMO's Continue was actually pretty good!

I'd actually like to see something like Moments (or anything MY STORY) mashed with Vivaldi's Spring and maybe something from Secret or Love songs with Winter.
Any ideas what famous classical pieces you think they'd choose?

Chopin or die

Edit: Liszt is fine too

I hope we get some news about this soon, I'm pretty excited!

Oh my god dude. Now I really want to hear that.

This guy doesn't seem to know how to keep tempo, but this is actually pretty nice.

They included what they are mashed up with right?

LOL the song choices though...I guess it's really for weddings

Here are the classical pieces of music Ayu's songs are mashed up with :

01. Voyage [Pachelbel's Canon]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stCKjZniMsQ

02. SEASONS [Dvorak: Homeward Bound (Symphony No. 9『From the New World』~2nd movement)]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2qCHLx_4qA

03. Days [Vivaldi: Violin Concertos "Four Seasons" - "Winter" ~2nd movement]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cp52PCIk_1k

04. TO BE [Bach: Well-Tempered Clavier Volume 1 first song Prelude]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzerJmdStq8

05. YOU [Petzold: Minuet (Minuet of Bach)]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNpxyjYPVUg

06. Virgin Road [Chopin: raindrop prelude]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OFHXmiZP38

07. Dearest [Dvorak: Humoresque No. 7]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3dhH5goUyE

08. HONEY [Handel: oratorio "Messiah" - Hallelujah Chorus]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usfiAsWR4qU

09. winding road [Debussy: Preludes Volume 1 ~ La fille aux cheveux de lin]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctFJhC-WMXo

10. Who... [Elgar: Salut]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYrj9jgxC8c

I really disagree with Ayu about the choice of songs.
There are plenty of other songs, love songs, she could have chosen instead of the eternal SEASONS, Voyage, Days, TO BE, YOU, Dearest, Who..., and the worst of all : HONEY.
Please, those new versions better be good.
Oh, and Pachelbel's Canon would deserve a lot better song than Voyage IMO...

Well we got popular classical pieces with popular ayu songs. These songs are ayu standards and with what the theme and purpose of what this release is supposed to be, these choices don't suprise me. I like the classical piece choices and the idea of this release. It's interesting and different from the usual ventures into this area. Ayu's definitely ready for Valentine's day lol. I just hope the actual songs sound good. And that the whole presentation of the release will turn out well. Otherwise, this will just be a half-assed project.

And I got Chopin. Bae.

I'm so excited! Her classical mixes are some of my favorites! <3
