^ Thanks for the digest! |
I think they showed fans recording because it was a new thing. They wanted to show that fans being allowed to take pictures was part of the show.
I thought it was nice to see people excited for Ayu and wanting something to remember. It's not like they spent a lot of time showing the crowd, as if we missed anything on stage. They were only allowed photos during certain times anyway. |
Yeah kind of like a way to fetishize western culture in Japan. Like how it seems "cool" because its a western thing
|
I thought allowing people to film it was a cool idea. It would be good promotion since people would post it all over social media.
|
I think it's just that during filming for this at least, they showed a lot of people just snapping pics/video with their phones. It was a bit off putting. Like they'd literally be zooming in on the screens of the phones or zooming in on people taking their phones out.
The BRILLANTE section is probably one of the best she's had in a loooong time. |
Omg, it's not smth to complain about. Audience is a part of the show too. Try watching Mylene Farmer's concerts - they are showing audience 40% of the time.
|
Oh, I never have an issue with that normally, but zooming in on the screens and back covers of the phones themselves was a bit strange to me.
|
Otherwise people who missed this tour and didn't follow news wouldn't even know that partial photo taking was allowed, it makes sense that they emphasize that, especially since it was the very first time in her career.
|
Oh, I thought they made it very obvious with the red flashing text before some songs, lol.

Seeing this fully now, I have to say photos never do her tour justice, like you have to watch it to get its full feel. I acually didnt mine the lack of traditional japanese feel. I like the into to the tour, i guess ot would of been better for the front people, as i think i was meant to feel like you were falling with it. The giant stair case reminds me of those old like 1950/1960ish stage preformances but at the same time, it felt modern. And i love how she brings tese new technologies to her show, with the projection thing used this tour.
Brillante would have to be my fav preformace, she reminded me of one of those ballet music box dancers. Very elegant and airy. Sounds like she has been working hard with endless sorrow too, i think this is one of my most fav endless sorrows live now |
