Also, I believe that songs like Mad World and/or FLOWER could fit the theme. Curious to see what is happening. She hasn't told us much about it.

I believe the setlist will consist of ballads and rock ballads (such as "Because of you" or "Decision").

IMO it has more to do with a death-rebirth theme than with her deafness... Even because death-rebirth is a recurrent theme during her career. My bet is that every chapter will be more optimistic than the past one, a little like POM

To me the word sacrifice just portrays how her career was managed just after the beginning. Do you remember Dearest? Do you remember A Best? She was always a sacrifice, a slave that was sacrificed for the sake of music and money. That's how Avex and her build Ayumi Hamasaki. On that strategy that is as old as music industry. That's why I'm not surprised about the title and I don't think that's dramatic because this tour is about her career.

I don't think the title of sacrifice is too dramatic. It could relate to so many things about Ayu. Her personal life, career, songwriting. It's better to wait and see what it will actually be like.
I would expect melodramatic songs to be added. But there isn't much information to make a good prediction.:laugh

I also love "Because of you". I hope "Memorial Address" is included.

People forget we are talking about someone who gave us super cheerful titles like "endless sorrow" and uplifting songs about freezing to death in the snow. :P

Because of you is such a great song that I don't care seeing it included on the setlist time after time.

I think she is not performing rare songs this time because I feel this tour is more for casual fans so she prefers to go with popular singles.

Have you peeps not learnt anything over the years? lol The name ~sacrifice~ might not hint at anything major at all. I can remember years ago when people speculated about the Future Classics name or how the cover of GUILTY would look like. Or even the cover and PVs of M(A)DE IN JAPAN last year.

We're talking about someone who calls an album with hardly any rock songs Rock'n'Roll Circus, because every song she sings becomes a rock song.

Well, I'd say she likely means a rebellious attitude or going against the norm, so she's not wrong. But I imagine someone who doesn't know her going to Japan, seeing the cover of an album by a Japanese glam rock chick, buying the CD and listening to it.......... Song 4 will be a huge surprise indeed. LOL
