Kumi fans were pissed cause it was announced she was to collab with BACK-ON and people were already expecting another Poppin' love cocktail-ish song. ayu fans were intrigued cause she was to collab with Kalen Anzai lol

Kumi doesn't help the situation of both affection and Color the Cover, besides TAKE BACK and walk she barely sing songs from these albums. And those setlist playlist actually helps the songs get more streams.

I like affection, but it's pretty much a late 90s album released on 2002 with not much a direction imo. It's harder for people who got to know her after 2010 to connect with the older material. grow into one and feel my mind also has low streams, but they have at least a big hit each to push the album overall (real Emotion and Crazy 4 U).

Color the Cover' situation is a shame, I really love the album and I wish Shake Hip was as big as BE MY BABY/Megumi no Hito, #justiceforshakehip.

I just can't stop seeing the Go to the Top single cover in ayu's 23rd Monster cover. lol.

Watched some parts of the show today.
They did a long talk about and with Kuu about her career and music.
Was funny when she forgot which single she released in 2004 and her reaction to it. :laugh
She did say at the end she wants to sing until she dies.

Didn't watch that part, but apparently Kuu also talked about how she wants to make a new style or fusion of (modern) dance and traditional Japanese dance.

Munakata Fes is slowly releasing infos about this year's festival.
Now they revealed the special location Kuu is going to perform at!
It's the Star Flyer hangar at the airport in Kitakyushu!

You can see the other locations and artists scheduled for them at the link above. Two are yet to be announced.

Btw. the final line-up consists of 9 artists and the festival runs for 9 hours (11 am - 8 pm).
So it's likely that they schedule an hour for every artist, probably with some talking time included cause of the MCs leading through the live broadcast.

Now Ultraviolet is her #82 most streamed song there and STRIP #83.
Too bad we don't have numbers. :laugh

Something I forgot to add to the Spotify stats, she gets around 100.000 streams per day, so in about 90 days she will reach 100 million streams on Spotify, which I think it's quite impressive. :)
