It's obvious he did it for the publicity and to build himself up. Accusing Ayu of lip-synching, then saying most Japanese singers lip-synch, and then turning it into a "compliment" to brush it aside. Brushed aside, turned into a "compliment", or not, it's been said, it's controversial, it's what people hear, and it can't be taken back.

the old farts grasshoppers who is friends with eason. They did not go to the concert. Jade Kwan, and ellen from at17 who went to the concert also suspect her of lipsyncing. Jade Kwan said the slow songs she didnt but the fast paced ones she did for sure.

Andy Hui, mariam yeung, etc also went to the concert but their comments on the concert is no where to be found. I think its better not to be part of this mess.

How can someone be so sure that someone lip synched when they themselves dont have much concert experiences and plus they are not popular.

I mean clearly the guy is lying because which artist with a live band lip-synchs for 1/3 of a concert? That's just plain stupid. And then what's that crap about "many Japanese singers do that". that's bias at the very least. As if Hong Kong, Taiwan or Korean singers don't lip-synch. If so, why must he single out Ayu if he didn't have some sort of prejudice against her? He tries to disguise his critism of Ayu by saying something like MJ does that or whatever.
