So let me get this straight.. they went to Venice and are shooting a CM in the ballroom of a hotel? Ok...sounds like they have money to waste.

LOL that is such a waste. Can't they find a ballroom in Tokyo?
OH WAIT. Maybe the ballroom is just one setting and there are some other Venice-specific shots that have already been shot/will be shot.

If it's only shot in the ballroom I'm gonna think that Panasonic has more money than brains.

I imagine that you know how they had her take photos of certain things in the part of Me CM? They might actually have her go out and take photos of the things rather than just have readily-taken photos be superimposed into the CM..

Er.. still is that worth the money when a photoshop job was ready at hand? Going to Europe for Japanese is big. When Erika went there she shot her cover artwork and her photobook at one go.

I believe Panasonic isn't the only "company" at work.

If you looked at the photos, I think you'd see Ayu's assistants with her at the time, so perhaps this will be an avex thing as well.


Maybe for tour goods for AT08? She could do a whole bunch of things with a photoshoot in Venice..

Oh well. Looking at all the news articles, it seems that they're gonna perhaps.. take the promo photos and stuff there on location instead of in a white room that's all photoshopped-esque..

I imagine someone like Ayu always has assistants to help her out if she's working. Anyway hope you're right and we're not gonna get another typical Panasonic ad. Otherwise it'll be just a big waste of money and a huge disappointment for us fans :rolleyes

Well, it was mentioned that she had 10 people with her when they were flying out.

I dunno. Ayu's been with Panasonic for 7 years, which is pretty magnificent. They might be trying to go for a Koyuki-esque image right now instead of "PERFECTION..".

In Hawaii, I think they rented a whole house and in NY they used the whole floor of some hotel. :O

Nobody was there for sushi on the roof last night.

Her own staff may be 10, but the TV production crew and local italian support staff was closer to 50. Sorry I didn't know what was going on until I asked last thing on Friday, or I would have borrowed one of the storyboards they were working on in the public lobby Wednesday.
