A new tour date has been announced and it's in Spain, March 12th in Barcelona and it looks like she'll come to Madrid too. I think they'll announce officially the whole tour really soon with all the dates ^_^

Was it ever mentioned that Aphrodite was #1 on the UK charts and #19 on the US. This is really good considering X charted at number 4 and 139 respectively. Also I'm really digging better than today.

I watched KylieX2008 DVD yesterday, and holy crap :thud that's like the best show I've ever seen. My favorite part was Like a Drug with the skull, so cool :yes. I also really liked the Manga girl segment especially Nudity (which I didn't care for on the album). I can't wait until Aphrodite Tour is released on DVD. |

What a coincidence because I recently found this charity song that Kylie and VERBAL recorded after the earthquake. The weird thing is that I found this out by randomly reading VERBAL's wikipedia page and then seeing that Kylie's page had no mention of it. The song doesn't even have many views :( |

Saw her live Friday. She was stunning! She sang beautifully, and she was charming as usual. Well worth the admission price (USD $40).

Blek, I'm disappointed to find out that Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) is gonna be the 4th single. It's not catchy at all and kinda boring. Matter of fact I haven't liked the singles from this album I think it should have went:
All the Lovers Better Than Today Cupid Boy Aphrodite and maybe Illusion |

Aphrodite is a solid piece of work but when it comes to singles the choices aren't very obvious I find, especially for the American market. Kylie sings conventional dance-pop that's not so conventional and it works for and against her because even though she's not topping charts all around the world she still has the style of music that can keep you interested longer than your standard top 40 hit. I think "Too Much" would have made a great summer single but that's probably just me thinking that lol. |
