lol she probably would not have gone down the 'electronic' route. Maybe she would have kept making the same kind of music?

well avex is also a managment company

and afaik Ami has been busy since her last single, maybe her and avex are viewing her singing career as a lost cause and transitioning over to more acting, theatre and variety show appearances

she does seem pretty busy even though shes not making music.

True, she might have even taken the R&B/Urban Pop route like Kuu, I've noticed that many pop artists end up changing their music style to more urbanish (which I love, of course). :)

Cause if people like misono can still release a steady stream of music I really don't see what's stopping ami...avex is a huge label and there are TONS of artists signed to them that sell worse than ami. Plus it's not like avex invests tons of money to promote her stuff so they aren't losing tons of profit.

Also the j-electro scene is still really indie and underground. Capsule, perfume and Kyary are HUGE exceptions. In 2007-2009 Ami was outselling like 90% of the active j-electro artists lol.

It's so sad that ami hasn't released anything in so long...

and i just started getting into her this year...
maybe she will do something later... but she seems to be having fun doing other things
