^ actually, from what I read japanese fans like Party Queen covers... it was a lot of none asian fans that didnt like it.

^ Were they? I remember meltdowns, but that could have just been international fans. :D

Maybe I'm thinking of the again covers. >.<

i know not many people were happy with again covers... lol

but party queen... if i remember correctly a lot of japanese fans thought the covers were cute? (i dont see the cuteness, but i liked the covers... it was completely different and trashy, lol)

It's kinda odd. I see LOVE again compared with Love Songs, but really it should be comapred with Party Queen. :D

Maybe if we listen to Love Songs - Party Queen - LOVE again in order it'll sound like one huge, dramatic love story.

dont forget to add FIVE in there... the beginning of the end. lol

It has. At the beginning of Love Songs, Ayu was saying goodbye to one lover and welcoming another. LOVE again seems to be following these lines...it just has more inner conflict so far.

Love songs had a lot of hope. This one seems a bit more pessimistic so far. The album tracks will certainly be interesting...

I hope Gloria is inspired by or dedicated to Gloria Trevi :)

I loved the Party Queen covers. They fit with the first few tracks but with Letter and Tell Me Why, it seems out of place.

Compared to Fairyland and Sunrise / Sunset, the covers here are nice.

I don't expect much from this now because I always hold expectations that are too high.

Saying this though, it might all come together when we hear the album entirely.
I can't see untitled ~for her~ 2, and Bye Bye Darling being all cheery though.
That leaves Gloria, petal, and SAKURA to support the simplistic/airy feel.

The LOVE again cover fits with the production, personally I think.

If it were anything too glitzy and her looking like a diva, it'd be out of place with the concept.

Same with Love songs, she choose simple covers for songs that are mostly ballads about relationships.

Also, if she was giving me Rule, Starin', Born To Be... vibes, then covers that are colorful as Next Level and Rainbow without the duck face would fit with the production.

I just hope that the casual listeners don't get confused just by looking at the covers and even reading the title! "I thought she released this a couple of years ago!"
