You know, your buying interests aren't the official measurement for the market, and compilations still make both the artists and the labels tons of money. It's no surprise Namie is releasing a new one every 3 years.

Haha, you, me, and Miss_Elin were all at the second Saitama date for AT2010. :P If you really want to go to CDL on the 31st, I highly suggest you reach out to people who are TA members and ask if they would enter the lottery on your behalf. It's notoriously hard to get tickets for that date, and the ones you find in reseller shops/Y!J will be ¥¥¥¥. Definitely keep an eye on Kuu; I wouldn't be surprised if she started doing some 15th anniversary celebration type stuff in December. Hopefully you'll get lucky with Namie as well. Have fun!

I won't tell anyone to do anything, I just feel that right now BEST albums are for the hardcore fans who buy everything or for people who aren't really fans but like some main hits of the artist (and don't like any b-sides or less known songs) so they don't buy regular releases but when it comes to BEST with all the songs they somehow know from the past then they decide to buy. I'm in the middle, I only buy albums with new materials and live concerts, no singles, no BESTs but if some artist I like (esp Ayu) released a BEST album with new vocals or new arrangements I'd be happy so I'm glad Namie is doing it with BALLADA and I wish Ayu could do this as well (like she did for the 10th anniversary singles)

I had lotery tickets for Saitama and I got very bad sits so I'm prepared to pay more this time, but if it's really extremaly expensive, or if there actually will be other concerts (Kuu, Namie, etc) then I'll go on the 30th. I just hope there will be a CDL, I was so worried when Ayu didn't announce a tour for so long xD

I have nothing to say about this best, apart from how fabolous it all looks: good title, Contrail Ballad Version, the gorgeous covers (yes, she looks fierce, but not aggressive, I think they're on point for a Ballad Best, if nothing they're not the sweet stereotyped stuff they usually pull off), SWEET 19 BLUES NEW VOCALS, CAN YOU CELEBRATE NEW VOCALS, PVSSSSSSSS!!!!

So much for Tsuki going on a new album. I'm also assuming Ballerina and Neonlight Lipstick are going to turn into the speed star, and ningyo (among others) and never be released on albums.

This is a pretty awesome album though. Although it was her one shot to re-sing the English parts in Beautiful. Too bad it didn't make it on the list. I love that song. I might buy it though.

This is one best of I am looking forward too. Usually I dont give a damn about compilations, but new vocals and PVS for songs 10+years old??? Yes please!

I wonder what songs she has that haven't been released on albums. If they were all put together for a collection album that'd be awesome. Although it wouldn't be called "B-sides" because Damage, Beautiful, the SPEED STAR, Ningyo, etc are all A-sides.

Beautiful should be there too, it has a PV, i remember i watch a CM with it.
Anyway, it's nice to see something like this :)

I am really excited for this release! I've been hoping for new vocals to CAN YOU CELEBRATE? and Sweet 19 Blues for long long time and now we'll be getting them!

Also excited for new PVs for the old songs! I've always thought this concept would be awesome to be act upon, but not realistic. However, it works great for a best album! I also love the covers and the hat.
