What's not to love about Crossroad - I do love those violins!

axmish87 4th June 2015 12:14 AM

Crossroad is so perfect for Ayu
It was my favorite song from those three singles and second favorite from Love Songs

Zeke. 4th June 2015 01:41 AM

crossroad was a fucking snoozer though when it came out. It felt like such a chore to listen to compared to what we were used to from her. With time I came to love it but it's more mature.

I didn't even notice that ayu posted new message %) damn, it's so long... I want the translation

another song the remix safed for me. I prefer it to the original

I like the remix, but it's for a different time and place and atmosphere. crossroad, the original, does have its time and place. Usually early, early autumn. Sometimes I listen in spring when the environment calls for it.

Yeah. It is a great song, but it does drag over the middle section. I remember thinking, Oh this is tolerable, but when Melody came around, I honestly thought Ayu was deliberately draining her music of energy or real tired that month.

Anyway you spin it, it was 100x better than Ayu's Valley Girl crisis of late 2012. I have no clue what possessed Ayumi to become 6 shades darker and sing like a baby on You & Me, but I'm so glad that era is over. Does anyone know if she fired the person that brushes her hair during that period? I was pretty surprised by how ratchet her hair looked. I was expecting dread wax, but instead noticed that she stuck clips in her hair to distract from its desperation to be brushed and styled. I call these years Ayu The Explorer because she was a few Spanish words, a hot cousin, and a few pounds off from being Dora.

Lately during my walks I've been cycling through a playlist with Love song, crossroad, petal, and Will. I really adore when she does these pop-folk/Yuming kind of songs.

Obviously, I can't speak for her since I am not Ayu but it seemed to me that she was taking drastic measures to adjust to changes in her life. So, going for a rather extreme image may have been a part of that.

That sounds really nice! Almost makes me wanna go on a walk! I'd be up for Ayu trying her hand at some folk music.

I have a question for those who received the TA magazine at their Tenso address... Was the sender "ジャレード", the item "Document" and the weight 200g?

Thanks ~ Kinda weird. My TA goods came with "ジャレード" as the sender before, so it's not a problem. But I'm a bit worried about the "Document" part haha

But I guess it's alright, since the weight is the same?

Aderianu 5th June 2015 02:40 PM

Sender ジャレード

I think it's the magazine. =)

Toniayu123 6th June 2015 12:46 PM

I also received a 200g package from ジャレード, I guess it's the magazine then.

rainbow_smile 6th June 2015 02:04 PM

Thanks guys! I payed for the shipping, so I hope it is actually the magazine and not some weird document from avex that weighs like a magazine haha
