Sadly, she's literally popular nowhere. She doesn't really have a team or a producer or a label or much of anything to support her career, even though she's actually incredibly talented, both as a producer and vocalist.

We were all hoping her Japanese career would eventually take off, but two albums and 17 singles later, she's worse off than when her first single was released.

I hope her career revives at some point. Or that she breaks out in a new area.

I just can't with how sad this has gotten. I really hoped she would return to japanese music market someday, but here we are...she's not even releasing chinese music either. Can't believe such a talented singer as she is isn't having the career she deserves. If it is what she wanted to do I respect it though.

I feel like she should go back to Japan, at least (I think) she was starting to get a bit of recognition. I never even bother with those random and scattered chinese songs. They're no good, and it's a pain to get info when one gets released, let alone find them.

It seems that it's more than a standalone concert, I just read it was the first date of a Tour...

"Best & More" Tour.
First stop in Chengdu.

She will perform several OST songs of her discography such as the "Red Cliff" movies' theme songs or 千古 Through the ages (花千骨 The Journey of Flower ending theme).
alan also decided to perform covers of 康定情歌 Kangding love song and 成都 Chengdu (on February 18th only).

After Chengdu's concert, alan will resume work on the new album, expected to be released this summer.
