Well, she was one of the first japanese female artists to have a collaboration with a korean band, right? LAST ANGEL was just months after the first "hit" from Tohoshinki. And that was before the whole "korean wave" that started years after the single.

@KuuXAyu-fan I can see being a mu-mo single if the album is released during the same month or something like that.

sorry, but Shinee are great and have great and stable album sales, their albums have good sound too, and they have nice personalities, and which is important, a very good image.
I'd be happy if she picked their sound, for example.

That's true. I'm not a fan of SHINee but from all those boybands, they're the best ones when it comes to vocals, they have done lots of different concepts/sounds and they can adjust to any style they're given. They also produce and write their own stuff as from lately, so a collab with them is a nice thing.

Kumi should feel happy to have them in a single.

She wore that sparkly dress already, at FNS 2012. ♥

Shinee is basically the male f(x), they have a very unique, modern sounds to their releases, mostly electro driven. could see that very well.

I know. just saying that they aren't as bad and irrelevant as some people might think. they have some pop style but also some ballads which may suit Kuu style, actually.
I think they had concerts in Japan, maybe that's why the collabo was decided, idk.
the hallyu hype seems to have been kinda dead.

kaled kalil 21st November 2016 12:07 PM

No one is complaining about a possible collaboration with them saying that they are irrelevant or anything. It's just that it is so random to have a kpop group collaboration when kpop isn't the hot thing anymore.

I'm still waiting for a collaboration with a female singer. That Ain't Cool was so long ago (not here for It's all love).

pedronekoi 21st November 2016 12:31 PM

I would love if the collaboration with SHINee was true because I love both of them. But it is kinda random this feat...

@kaled_kalil I would love to see her collaborating with a female singer as well! Brign back the featurings, gurl! <3

About the setlist of USJ: I love it! Lady Go! <3

This Hawaii concert must have been an amazing experience for the fans.

Well, That Ain't Cool was a really random release as well...

When it comes to timing, I think only the meaning of peace and LAST ANGEL were "understandable". That Ain't Cool came out of nowhere.

Corvina 21st November 2016 01:13 PM

That Ain't Cool was a gift from Fergie to Kuu for her birthday.
Also Kuu said in an interview (around Bon Voyage) she herself prefers collaborating with not (so) well known artists.

I love the first part of the USJ setlist. That's exactly the order I listen to Lst, Shhh! and SMYH on my phone. Would love another of these jazzy upbeat songs on the next album.

a❤martian 21st November 2016 04:05 PM

That Ain't Cool is easily one of my least favourite Kuu songs everrrr. I was never into the Black Eyed Peas, in fact I dislike them, so a random collab with this Korean boy band is way more welcome.

Actually, I feel like people are normally like wtf to who Kuu chooses to collaborate with. I recall Sean Paul and B. Howard were controversial choices, but I LOVE both of those songs.

I love that kimono on her. The pic she posted on LINE (also from taking her son to Shichigosan at Meiji Shrine) was seriously stunning.
