I'm loving this version of ourselves :O

ourselves was alright, decent vocals most of the time. WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU SCREAM DURING THE CHORUS OF TO BE? It was needless she started of nicely.

TO BE started good, but the chorus was a mess.
ourselves was just like I expected it to be! totally pleased with it. She killed it!

TO BE was pretty bad imo. As was the start of Ourselves, but then it got better. Maybe she needs proper warm-up before she goes on stage?

Yeah this ourselves is great, but I didn't enjoy the whole thing that much, honestly. Ayu overacted and because of that lost it vocally in some (don't read it as "all") parts :P And obviously she tried to sing super softly to hit proper notes, which is fine by me because she managed, though I don't think people who are not her core audience found the performance appealing.

She nailed the ourselves performance, loved it!

TO BE was kind of a letdown because it was just the original with like an overlay of piano. And her screaming during the chorus was just not palatable. I think it's because the chorus calls for conveying an emotion as if one is being pierced in the heart, which her former voice was perfect for. Now, the only way she can convey a similar emotion is to shout...

As for ourselves, I really disliked her voice during the verses. The choruses were enjoyable because she was switching between nasally sound and various techniques, but the last chorus I did not like.

I don't remember if it was during TO BE or ourselves, but she was singing as if she clenched her throat to make like a frog kind of timbre. Lmao, she does the same thing during the opening of I am... song.

She needs to call back her 2015 vocal trainer, because she had amazing control back then
