No she doesn't anymore, they kinda fixed it I think :P She doesn't have carbon-black eyebrows on ULTRABLUE cover... not sure about reality though... but it fits her.

No no, she has to pluck them regularly. I mean, you don't get eyebrows that are thick and unibrow-like and then never have them again. You have to regularly get rid of the hair that grows xD

But she does look better without makeup. Ayumi without makeup is like flatface, she needs some mascara or shades above eyes... Utada's face isn't flat and she has dark and thick eyelashes...

^ yeah Ayu always has thick makeup whereas Utada probabably not as thick so not as much difference when u see Utada without makeup

It seems likely, but we cannot know for sure if she is completely without makeup in most of those pictures. She could be wearing only light amounts of it, or heavy amounts, but of a style that we're not used to see, thus making her look very different. The pictures are too low quality to judge if she actually is wearing any or not.

I barely reacted at all when I went into this thread the first time to view the pictures, I was like "huh" when I read the replies that said things like "OMG SHE DIFFERENT I DON'T FEEL SAME ABOUT HER", well, you get my point.

I actually didn't find her all that different, it was obvious to me it's her Lol, becouse she looked very similar to how she looked in the movies she starred in. Although she grew up, she still has few very characteristic features, visible in poker face PV or other earlier PVs, or in the movies mentioned. Sometimes even when wearing makeup she points her head in such a way you can clearly see them almost as if she was the teenage Ayu instead of 27 y.o. (I noticed it in BLUE BIRD PV, in the early scenes).

There's a particular scene in AT2k5 that I took certain notice of, where the same thing happens, it's during About You. You can see her face on the big wall screen in the background and she looks exactly like she did when she was a teenager.

I fixed it. I think the images got "lost" during the server change.

As for Utada, I love her to pieces, but one of my complaints about her is she needs to make her photo shoots more interesting, and not just shot after shot of her face staring straight ahead.

I guess it's a part of her "simple style" the seem to be persuing. Sometimes they interrupt it with FINAL DISTANCE, traveling or Keep Trying', but generaly her husband-director and her father seem to like it "Simple and Clean", hence just Utada and her and noone else...

Actually, the series of PVs by Hikki with all the strangeness is often called the 'Kaz Trilogy' and were some of the most incredible PVs created!~

I think it could be Can You Keep a Secret, or maybe SAKURA Drops, becouse the first one isn't really that odd... I know, I've heard about it too just don't remember the third PV...

I admit, I was a little shocked. I think if her hair was cropped short, I'd have recognized her a little more easily. Even without makeup, her eyes and nose still have wonderful shape.

I think she looks great. It's all about the eyes.

Her eyes is what makes a lot of her looks to me aswell :yes.
