The best song on the album goes to "Break The Ice" for me. That song SCREAMS hot, but I don't mind "Piece of Me" as the next single since it has so much attitude.

I think the album is really catchy but Britney really does not deserve abum this good with the amount of effort she put into it. she didn't even bother to make a proper music video for "gimme more" :o

Gimme More... the song is music. And Britney's voice definitely brings something good the songs. She has the right voice the kind of music she does, which is dance pop/RnB. A voice like Christina Aguilera's wouldn't sound good for the kind of music Britney does. A voice like Britney's wouldn't sound good for the kind of music Christina does.

And some of yall need to just stop worrying about the Piece Of Me video. Because you know as soon as the video drops you're gonna do nothing but complain about it, just like you've done with everything else regarding the girl. :rolleyes As a matter of fact I don't know why she even bothers. She can't please anyone.

Her VMA 07 performance.

She doesn't bother, that's the problem. The girl doesn't give two craps about what she's been doing lately, and it's a battle that can't be won arguing against that. I am worried about the Piece of Me video because the Gimme More video was the biggest mess of a music video I've ever seen in my entire life. The girl wasted an opportunity for something great by shooting a lapdance that just happened to be done while music was playing.

And how do you know she was talking about the VMAs? She said "in better times", and the VMAs 07' were not better in any way whatsoever.

She performed, made a video, and did a photoshoot for the album. She does bother. Her talent, however, is buried under loads of other crap right now and it's going to be a long while before it resurfaces, if it ever does. The Gimme More video was bad, and the Piece Of Me video won't be anymore spectacular either. Expect that now. And since she gets ragged on and is going to get ragged on for this video even though she tries, she really shouldn't even bother.

Whoops, it seems I was mistaken, since she was talking about Gimme More beforehand. I hardly read that line. I took "in better times" as "in better air times", as in, so more viewers could see it. She also said "she's a bad performer" which to me HAD to mean she was talking about the 07 VMAs.

I'm hardly impressed at her lack of effort in doing the things you mentioned. She may have bothered to do them, but she certainly didn't bother to actually put anything into them. Just look at her past videos and performances and tell em that she bothered putting effort into any of the things you mentioned. You'll lose a lot of credibility in my book if you say she did. I don't mean to sound rude about this, but she's ********d up bad and hasn't made any attempt at remedying the plethora of mistakes she's managed to make within the past year (and by mistakes I'm including the performance and video). Her personal life is an entirely different, deformed entity.

And she isn't trying, that's what the problem is. If she was trying, then something good would be much more likely to come out of what she's done. I'll admit that she wholeheartedly provided vocals for a fantastically produced album, but she has made no effort beyond that and if she bothers to make a video for Piece of Me, it will be quite obvious if she bothered to put any effort into it. If she did, then I will most certainly appreciate it, but if she continues with this complete lack of enthusiasm, I will be forced to do as you say and complain about a poor video.

I like Pieces of Me. She should make a music video for it with her giving the finger to everybody or something.

Bondingo I just said the video was bad in my previous post and I've said the performance was bad before. Do you remember my response to the performance a while that other thread? I ragged all over it myself; called her a drunk fool and all. You even responded to me in it. I shouldn't have done that though because it was pretty inconsiderate. But it's not lack of effort, because she did do her best; it's lack of talent now. She tried during HOB, it was still very lackluster. I watched the video again just now; she didn't toss us crumbs. She tried. But even when she tries her best it's not going to be good. You said it yourself, she's ****ed up bad. Why do you think a severely ****ed up Britney can pull off a video as good as Slave 4 U or Me Against the Music, or a performance like she did at the 2000 VMAs? It's not going to happen. If 2001 Britney did a performance and video like Gimme More then it'd be lack of effort, but this is the best she can give us now. She's lost her A-game.

Sorry I sounded all pissy, I guess we just have differing views on it. I just don't think someone doesn't just lose talent like what she had only years ago. I believe it would take much longer for her to completely lose talent, because it's something innate. Personally I just happen to see it as lack of effort as opposed to a lack of talent but I guess we can agree to disagree.

Hopefully the album will flop soon, she'll disappear for a few years and make a proper comeback. She should sort her personal life out before taking something as big as this on.

Britney isn't disappearing as long as there is the media. Did I lose her kids? LOL. I might have misplaced them, but I sure hope not. Lol. No seriously, she does get them occasionally. I think it's on the weekends (not sure), but she also has to have an appointed monitor there to supervise when she's with the kids.
