If it sold over a million copies, wouldn't Avex have to ship over a million copies and then A COMPLETE would get the certification?

But SolarAngel said that it could very well sell over 1 million copies worldwide. For Asia countries like Singapore, they need to ship the OS presses instead, so I think that 750k from RIAJ is just the Japan press.

Oh I thought the OS versions counted for the certification since it all pretty much comes from Avex.

its dead at the moment but if it will sell enough copies next weeks and make it back to top 300 all copies sold within the weeks in which it didnt charted will be counted so dont get scared when u will see different number and it sure will be over 850k

Maybe all the stock has been bought up and they're not manufacturing anymore.

^ No, avex never stops manufacturing as long as people are willing to buy + you can still buy it at CDJapan and Yesasia, so it cant be completely sold out

regular CD are always manuactured. they will never sell out, since its not FP or something

If A song for xx is still manufactured in stores in japan (and online stores like CDJapan) so obvously A COMLETE ~ALL SINGLES~ will also.

I assumed if u manufacture something, it would have to be in bulk to be cost-effective. I wouldn't think they would manufacture a new batch if only a few thousand more are willing to buy it. The older albums sold in online stores and retail outlets are probably very old stock.

That's what the pressings are about. The first press is the first batch and subsequent pressings are future batches.
