I'm a little weirded out by this still since there will be a new single in less than two months... and three new ones in less than five!

But for her next two singles did they announce whether there will there be four versions same as MOON/blossom?

^ the leaks are inevitable ^^ it's just the matter of how early it leaks :P And Ayu's summer singles tend to leak early~

If there's special packaging, I HAVE to get one D: I was thinking of getting M/b CD-only and b/M CD-DVD because I don't really care for moL and seeing that it says it's limited, I felt like I have to get one, but the shipping cost in CDJ just doesn't seem worth it. :/ Now I'm rethinking to just get both CD onlys... but, agh.

If the CD+DVD really comes with a special packaging that would be so cool! Even though I can only afford CD Only :( I love D/G packaging!
I think it would be a interesting idea not to put 48th, 49th and 50th single on the next album, that would make it more special, but I don't think they'll do it. |

I know the July-Aug-Sept thing isn't confirmed but that is going to be crazy.
I'll be terrified for her streak, but it will be like the I am... era again! How nostalgic! I hope the covers help that feeling too. |

i'm just happy that she's releasing her singles closer to the other, just like old times.
but when i see my pocket, i feel sad....because years ago, when ayu release singles within 2 or 3 months, it's ONLY 1 version, but now it's at least 2 versions, or even more, and the content are different, tempting me. Not to mention kuu's singles is in July and i have to get that! The covers are too hot to ignore. *starting to hate Japan's music companies for their multi versions* seriously, why they can't just release one version only? |

@Lacus I know right. Multiple versions used to be for special occasions only, (50th single is a big deal, but that's beside the point for other releases :P )but now they use it every chance they get, AAAGH :( It's frustrating, Ayu's not the only I plan on getting too :/

^But if you want to buy others too so just buy 1 version or the 2 cd only (if you want all the tracks) since the DVDs contents will be in the future album anyway, you don't have to buy all the versions. =\

Being able to chose is not a bad thing, no one is forcing anyone to buy all the versions, pick the one(s) you like the most, in the end of the day you can all download the songs that are on the other versions and no one will die.

Oh and about the different versions.. they're not making me any happier! a CD-only and CD+DVD is okay, but not.. 2 of each! It's just ridiculous. (But of course I ordered both CD+DVD versions so I guess I'm kinda contradicting myself here) Soooo excited though!! the blossom preview already made it's way into my 10 most-played O.o |
Well since there will be 3 singles at least we can be sure that there won't be just summery songs or winters songs for singles! ^^

bloosom feel is summerish, but when i heard MOON live i thought of No Way To Say, that was a def winter song - cause of PV maybe. So this is no to summerish/spring after all ;D fairyland have summer PV but song is too nostalgic to be a pure summerish (like Sunrise, BLUE BIRD) song. I feel the same with blossom, but i didn't heard anything but CM, so i might be wrong

It may be true that Avex is a company of money sucking vampire but I also think the different versions cater to the fans as well. If someone isn't a fan of DLB but loves Microphone, they have a choice. If someone doesn't want the CD+DVD and wants all the remixes included, they have a choice. I think the problem is when people are given too many choices, they suddenly can't make a decision lol.

I have a wish - I wish at the time when the songs is leaked, people would not complain this summer single as similar as her previous ones. MOON is obviously different from her previous songs which were released in summer..

The single covers better be good if she's going with this 3 single project. Please not another Mirrorcle World and GREEN/Day covers. I can't stand different single covers having the same look on her face, but just in different positions. X_X

Yeah a good friend of mine got me the CD+DVD of the single when she was in Japan.
I didn't throw it in the toilet (well it's a present so I would never lol) but even if it wouldn't it still has Sunrise ~LOVE is ALL~ which is awesome and Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~ which is awesome -AT TIMES-. I also really like the summer songs Mash Up. So yeah. Good single with bad covers, but the music is the judging element in buying for me (and it should be for most regarding music imo). You don't buy a book for its cover (well unless if it's really amazing and you want it), if you don't like what's inside then don't buy it. But of course a single with good covers is even better, but still the covers shouldn't be the deciding factor and probably not even one of them. |

And here comes the same old fight about the importance of the covers :laugh
To me, in the end the music is definitely most important. However, the covers are supposed to reflect the feeling of the music in 1 glance, it's what people see when they browse CD's in the stores, and it's the image they have in their head when they think about the single. That's why, in my opinion, a good cover is very important. A bad one wouldn't ruin the single for me, but a good one will definitely boost my anticipation level a lot. |

Because if you don't listen to the songs before it's the first thing that you see of the single. That's marketing. BTW 'course that it's better if we got a good songs and bad covers than if we got good covers and bad songs! |

I wanna be able to look at something nice. Especially when I won't be listening to the actual CD that much (iPod). Actually, I never buy Ayu's singles, except Days/GREEN and BLUE BIRD CD+DVD because the songs were really good AND the covers were amazing. The covers definitely are a deciding factor when it comes to singles. If they are absolutely stunning then they suck me in. Especially if the CD comes with a poster (like BLUE BIRD). I have two A BALLADS posters because that's my favorite CD artwork and the first poster I ordered came a bit crinkled on on end so I ordered a laminated one too. Lol. |

I think that covers are relatively important, but I dont think an entire view of a CD should be thrown out because of them.

A cover does indeed have impact, at least for me.
Take Sunrise/Sunset single. I thought the songs were OK, nothing new, but all right, nice summer songs. The cover was totally crappy, and it actually makes the whole single seem cheap, at least to me. With a classy cover, it would've risen a few notches on my scale at least... I might be a bit quirky, but covers are somewhat important to me... That's what I have to look at when the songs play in my iPod...lol |
