Who would you love to see Ayu perform a duet with?
 

For as long as I could remember I have Ayu to sing a duet with m-flo. I was so disappointed that Ayu wasn't part of the m-flo loves series. Verbal is so awesome and I think him and Ayumi could make an awesome song! Anyone else agree with me?

Anyway who would you love to see Ayu sing a duet with? It can be anyone, man, woman, doesn't matter ^_^

A duet with either Lady Gaga or Utada would be awesome.....although I'd be curious to see a duet with Koda Kumi as well...... :lech

This is very hard... I do think Verbal and Ayu could make a cool song.. I wouldn't know anyone else really...

This'll sound funny but it's a random thought (since I don't know enough about female artists that I enjoy to want Ayu to duet with them) but a duet with a jrock band would be so awesome. I can just imagine a rockish power ballad, alongside some harsher vocals of a male vocalist.

I'm thinking the sort of vocals on songs like Heartplace, or End of the world; I think she could pull it off somehow. With an incredible composition from a jrock band (and jrock bands have some pretty awesome compositions!) it would be enjoyable to see how it turns out.

I would love to see her perform duets with alan, Namie, Gackt, BoA. Doesn't mean they'll sound good though. Her two duets Itsuka no Merry Christmas with Gackt was so-so, and LOVE ~since1999~ with whoever the guy was singing the vocals alongside her was horrid. The only duet of hers I like is a song is born with Keiko. It all depends on the type of songs she picks, and the other persons vocals matched with hers.

Utada would be nice, and I was also disappointed she was left out of the m-flo loves series. All the hot artists were there, where was she?

Kiyoshi Hikawa, Masaharu Fukuyama, Keisuke Kuwata, B'z, Greeeen, Kobukuro, or AKB48. I wouldn't want her to perform a duet with another solo female artist. Those rarely work out, in my opinion.

My dream is that Britney will return to Japan on one of her next tours, meets Ayu, they hit it off and the two decide to record this epic rock/pop~ballad~electropop single together. *sigh*

I would also love for Ayu to do something with a VK band like the GAZETTE. I'm not really into VK bands but I think Ayu would fit right in perfectly with one. And I hope Utada's musings come true and she and Ayu do an American tour together. <333

Ayu and American artists, especially mainstream pop American artists do not make a good combination. I couldn't imagine what monster that would create. lol

Since I LOVE m-flo I'd love for Ayu to collab with them... There are quite a few non-R&B/hip-hop artists that they've collaborated with, I think m-flo can really adjust to Ayu's sound and make a great sound. I'm only waiting until that Day...

On another note, I really, really liked Ayu's duet with Sonim, singing "Curry Rice no Onna" on one of her Ayuready episodes.

Maybe I'm just being close-minded but I really can't see Ayu doing duets. I mean, she's done it before....but her voice just tends to clash with other voices in my personal opinion.

So yeah, I don't have an answer for this.

I never thought so many people would want Ayu to sing a song with Lady Gaga. I suppose it would be interesting but I can't really see it.

I'm sticking with m-flo as my number 1 haha. Though I do agree with the people who think the top femal artist (Kumi, BoA, Utada, Ayu) should get together for a song. It would be like how the Koreans get their girls to sing together! (SeeYa, Davichi, t-ara)

It'd be cool to see Ayu singing with Maki Goto. They performed on Ayu's TV show didn't they? Ayu could give Maki some pointers on how to be a non H!P idol :P

I personally would like to see Ayu do a duet with Anna Tsuchiya. Their voices are so different but I think they would make an awesome rock song together. Plus, Anna's my favorite artist and I'm loving Ayu so to see them two together would make my year, lol.

AyuxSMAP was great! I want that even for a third time, because they really sound great.

But one of my duet wish partners is miyavi. Would be an interesting experiment, or a disaster because they so different types.

Some one knows Aya Kamiki? She as well. I think she's a good performer and would match to Ayu, otherwise I personally think that Ayu's not really the duet type, that's why I cannot imagine her singing in a band.

ive been strangely listening to miyavi lately, even though hes not one of my fav acts. i sincerely think ayu could pull of a duet with miyavi. he varies what he does and she could do some of those. sure, hes like psychotic but in a beautiful way. and ayu would accompany him quite nicely. itd be a lot better than a duet between him and Melody. ^___^
