Let's make #ayu a TT on Thursday!
 

As we all know, Ayumi has a Twitter (@ayu_19980408), so wouldn't it be awesome if we can make #ayu a Trending Topic (TT) on Thursday, July 1st?!

In addition to making her a TT, we can mention her in our tweets to make sure she knows about it! :)

I hope not only this is the right place to post this, but a great idea everyone likes. :D

EDIT: There seems to be enough interest, and asking about rules, so here goes!

-Include #ayu in ALL your tweets to get the tag up and going (it'd be a plus if it mentioned something about her though!)
-Let's see if we can make "July 1st" another TT by including the phrase in your tweets as well!
-Go all out starting from 00:00 to 23:59 your time on Thursday! I'm sure it'll rack up to get it into the Worldwide trending topics!
-Like polka-dot-jewel said, just the tag "#ayu" will not count! There needs to be a tweet with it!!

-If you don't know what to say, just tweet "Happy July 1st!! #ayu @ayu_19980408"! :)

Just as a note (for those who don't know) - in order for "#ayu" to trend, there has to be a few words also written in the tweet... perhaps we should try and trend "HAPPY JULY 1ST! #ayu" or something like that? ("I love you, #ayu" or "I love #ayu" are also a couple of other acceptable ones.) Tweets that only saw "#ayu" won't show up, thus her chances of being a TT will be smaller =(

there's a problem, i think
make a test with "#we♥ayu"
it seems that twitter doesn't recognize the heart and only gets "#we" as a tag... so #we♥ayu doesn't work.

so maybe we must use #weLoveAyu? or something like that

Let's just do #ayu, that way we can say more. shorter hash tags are better for twitter IMHO.

There's only one problem with those rules: Like Pieces_of_Seven said, for people like me on the east coast Thurs July 1st in JPN time would actually be tomorrow, Wed June 30th. To make her a TT we need to all be on the same page so I think it'll be wise to sync all our times with JPN's timezone.

^mmm I think if we use something long like #WeLOVEAyu it could be problems with capital letters, I mean, we could write weloveayu, Weloveayu, WeLoveAyu etc... that way it won't count as the same, right?
just #ayu (#ayu, not #Ayu (?)) will be easiest.
I'm trying to say, to make only one simple thing in order to avoid make mistakes.

Don't use more than one hashtag in your tweets. Only one hashtag counts for the TT. Also if you use the same hashtag more than once, twitter can see it as spam and remove the hashtag from the TT. Happened to Gaga fans with Alejandro single release and also other Kpop trending events. Keep this in mind please :)
