what does 1st july mean?
 

I don't understand, I always thought that the reason 1st July is special because she made a song about it. But after watching AT09 last night, it seems that's not the reason, 1st July means more special to her.. so.. anyone has any exact idea?

I believe it's because she used to have a party every year on July 1st, sort of like the beginning of summer, and it meant a lot to her because she would spend time with her close friends and people she cared about.

Something like that. I wonder if she still does it.

July 1st means the first day of July, which is the seventh month of the year.

like what Pieces said, she used to (dunno if she still does it now) celebrate/have a party with her close friends on the night of June 30th, and it goes on till July 1st so that date has a special meaning to her :yes

July 1st is Ayu's day to recover from her hangover. So it's kind of like fer off day. :yes

I tried to ask her on Twitter, but didn't get a response. Hm...it would be cool if she still did it.

I just thought she was a huge fan of summer and july 1st marked the first day of summer for her.

It was in an interview that July 1st for her was her getting together with her friends that she could only really see on June 30-July 1st. So it was a pretty special date for her.

But isn't June 1st the first day of summer? Or maybe Ayu has her own concept of seasons and dates... XD

Probably so. As far I as know, summer starts in June. I think it's the 22nd... somewhere around Father's Day.
