Since her debut, she has become one of the top singers in both South Korea and in Japan. She is the only non Japanese Asian artist to have two albums selling over a million copies in Japan. She is also one of two artists in Japan who have six consecutive #1 studio albums (though her streak recently ended with IDENTITY). BoA is noted as being an amazing singer as well as a dancer. In addition to being able to speak fluent Korean and Japanese, BoA is also learning English and Mandarin Chinese. In 2008, she attempted to debut in the USA with Eat You Up. In 2009, she released BoA, her debut English album language. It was met with little success in the US but the album topped charts in Korea and Japan. Hot song, not sure how I feel about the video... I love seeing her dance so I'm bit disappointed there wasn't more choreography but it's nice to see her just be pretty and goof off. XD Wasn't feeling the silver eye make-up in the beginning but she looked great throughout the rest of the video. I can see this song doing well. :) |

^The album's called "Hurricane Venus" and will be release August 2nd. As far as I know there's not a cover or tracklist announced yet.

SM finally bought some life back into BoA. This is so like a refreshing breath of air for me to hear this song. I hope she keeps the life when she returns to Japan.

Hurricane Venus sounds so epic and those teaser pics are a million times better than any album art she's ever had. She looks like she's giving her all for this, unlike her past recent Japanese releases. My gawd GAME is so awesome!! Loved the song and PV. This just might be my introduction to Kpop. |

@Edge: Yeah, I pretty much second everything identity said. BoA though might not be the best introduction to K-pop as she's a soloist and the girl group craze over there is even worse then in Japan plus she's a bit more pop while other acts tend to be more R&B/hip-hop influenced. I'd also recommend K-pop as long as you're not looking for a lot of diversity and originality and just want fun and catchy songs. |

Well i dont think doing either is stupid. I was just stating that this was my personal thoughts about why she named the album what she did. Honestly, I couldn't care why she did. And if anyone has a different opinion, that's fine too. I'm interested to hear what everyone's thoughts are.
As for the album, as long as the songs and MVs are good, I'll buy it. |

But I'd bet my life she wasn't referring to the ****ing planet. It's VERY simple to make logical jumps to deduce the meaning and symbolism in titles. Someone who isn't able to demonstrates a lack of critical thinking and no grasp on symbolism and culture. |
