New medium ballad to be theme song for Sweet (magazine) CM!
 

The article basically mentions that Ayu sang the theme song (a medium ballad like MOON and crossroad) for the CM which will be on L. The song is untitled as of now. I think they are doing this to celebrate a million issue print run, and the Ayu issue for this month will have 1,150,000 copies printed.

The CM will start airing on September 9th. (!!, because that's today in Japan!)

(I initially thought they mentioned Ayu writing the music for this song, but they really said she wrote the lyrics... which is normal for Ayu, haha.)

She's got so many magazines~ I guess it's to make up for the lack of anything during MOON.

I'm pretty okay with another medium ballad as long as L is more rock-ish or up-beat. So the single have more range.

Good that the L single starts to have it's promotion now. Everything is about the crossroad one for the moment. But L need the #1 streak too so I think they need to push that one up as well not too late.

I hope the meaning of the name sweet heart goes to your own self instead of your beloved one. But yeah, I'm not gonna take out too much from just the title. Naturally. But the meaning of Love didn't really destroy my deathstar so to speak. Neither did blossom or crossroad. So I'm hoping this next medium ballad will do me better.

Not particularly thrilled that the first song we'll hear off L is a medium ballad since that's what the last two main a-sides were but it's Kikuchi and 95% of the time he doesn't disappoint so I know I'll probably love it anyway.

I don't understand all this hate for the ballads. I think it's kind of cool that she named the song sweet heart, and they are using it for the SWEET CM. :) I cannot wait to hear this song. If it's supposed to be the song that is like Who... it will be great!

I think we are just temperly sick of ballads. The last time she released just too much ballads.

Obviously the Japanese fans love ballads, otherwise they wouldn't buy the singles. lol
I love her ballads, but I happen to love her rock songs more...but I'm not complaining about it. She could release A BALLADS II with nothing but NEW ballads on it and I'd be perfectly happy, because it's new material. :yes But of course I already know most of the fans here can never be content with anything Ayu does.

If you're talking to me, it's not that i not want her to sing ballads, i love them. But i think there are just a little much last time, a son like sparkle or something would be perfect i think. But i always love her new material anyway, so it's not that i say i hate teh song because it's again a ballad.

Hm... the article that mentioned this appeared to make it sound like the CM would air without a title attached to the song? I mean they didn't have a title when they announced it so why would it be in the CM a day later?

This "sounds like Who..." thing might be misleading since I don't think Kikuchi ever said that, haha.

He never did, he just posted in his blog that in a-nation 2009 lunch party ayu asked him to make a song for her that is better then Who... or something along those lines.

The tweet about it. He says something like "Who... two ni naru ka na" which is like "Could this become Who two?" I think?

Also, I can't really find anything in the usual places like Twitter or blogs, so I don't think sweet heart has been seen anywhere outside of 2ch, haha. (Plus mixi would've mentioned something if it was true right?)
