Raise Your Glass in the 1st Official P!nk thread!

P!nk's brand new single, "Raise Your Glass", is expected to premiere in two days

StarSUCKER 20th October 2010 12:04 PM

D: No love for P!nk here? She's awesome!

Aditmi Krisnasaki ~II~ 20th October 2010 12:13 PM

I only love "So What" and "Stupid Girls" of all her songs... :D :D

Paparazzi 21st October 2010 08:17 PM

i love lots of her songs. "Who Knew" is my personal favorite.

Corvina 24th October 2010 08:08 PM

I love her, she's probably my favourite western singer!

Already preordered her first Best with the new songs. Raise your glass is a great song!
(and it's already a hit here in Germany, lol)

YuriChan 25th October 2010 12:59 AM

I <3 P!nk! She's so friggen epic! :D Funhouse is my fav (along with Get the Party Started)! :D

Keiichi_JPU 25th October 2010 02:02 AM

Pink is incredible. As a European, I basically grew up with her. She's had huge success here, and still does. Raise Your Glass is a hit, and the MV isn't even out yet!

My favorite songs of her will have to be..

Family Portrait
Who knew
nobody knows
U + ur hand
If God is a DJ
So What
Funhouse
Sober
Raise your glass

She's so talented. I will buy her Greatest Hits, just to show my support :)

Corvina 26th October 2010 08:31 PM

Guess she's bigger in Europe than anywhere else, didn't know that. :laugh

Nah she's like the biggest thing EVER in Australia.

Corvina 30th October 2010 01:46 PM

Yeah, you're right, didn't think about that while posting. Her last tour was also recorded in Australia!
I think it's interesting that she is more successful in other countries than in the US.

ストロボ・EdGE 31st October 2010 06:23 AM

My sister's were big fans, so I've been listening to her since like 99. I don't really like the tracklist for the Greatest Hits album though; several singles that I really love aren't there. I'd actually get it if they were. Wouldn't have been that hard to include all of her singles..

TITANIC 1st November 2010 08:14 PM

she is biggest star in Australia. I love funhouse alot

freedreamer 3rd November 2010 04:57 PM

Does the Greatest Hits contain her best songs ever? Or are there other tracks which I shud look out for. I loved So What but I never went on to discover what she had..

It has all of her singles, which in my opinion probably are most (but not all) of her best songs. It's obviously missing some really great album tracks, but I think the songs included are all reallllllllly good. I'm definitely buying the CD+DVD version. Having all her videos on DVD is definitely worth the price.

hell's_belle 19th November 2010 10:47 PM

I bough the deluxe version of Greatest Hits... So Far!! today <3

fancycar 23rd November 2010 05:17 PM

Still waiting for the release of GREATEST HITS...SO FAR!!! 's Japan Version.
It postpones to be released on 15/12,and comes with only 19 tracks...
How pitiful!!!!!

INSPIREme 23rd November 2010 08:43 PM

I LOVE P!NK! I have all her albums, but still got the Greatest Hits... So Far!!! Deluxe Edition. Love the new tracks, especially Raise Your Glass, just a bummer that the new video isn't on the DVD!

Most girls, You make me sick, and God is a DJ are singles that weren't included. There were others too, but the others were only released in certain countries only.

TITANIC 24th November 2010 03:17 PM

its confirmed ****in' perfect is 2nd single for greatest hits... so far

Aditmi Krisnasaki ~II~ 24th November 2010 04:14 PM

that's one of the few flaws of america, and releasing singles after an album. At the time of the album's creation, the new single's videos haven't been created yet. so, we basically get an incomplete dvd.

Aditmi Krisnasaki ~II~ 5th December 2010 04:47 AM

OMG.. the Raise Your Glass MV is just superb!

and the "milking-women" to the cow is just hilarious~~ :D

TITANIC 5th December 2010 01:47 PM

now here her 3rd #1 single in US raise your glass

TITANIC 9th July 2012 05:12 AM

1st single from her upcoming 6th album "The Truth About Love" which will be released on 18th September

Pieces_of_SEVEN 9th July 2012 07:51 AM

I've been strongly into Pink since her debut. And I really am enjoying her new single!

koumori 10th July 2012 09:22 PM

I always forget Pink is a mother now. How cute. :) Nice to hear she's releasing some new material, I loved Funhouse.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 19th July 2012 02:14 PM

I really like Blow me (one last kiss)! and I'm looking forward to her upcoming album, "The truth about love".

The cover is out and it's not bad.

She's also talked about her 13 month old daughter, Willow, being involved in the album - playing bells in one song, and bass in another. It's just too adorable! :) I read about it here. Also, she talks more to MTV about the album and her new single Blow Me (One Last Kiss) here.

Quotes:

Quote:

"She plays bells on 'How Come You're Not Here,' and she plays bass on a song called 'Timebomb.' She's actually quite talented for a 13-month-old!" Pink laughed. "There was a basket of sh--, and she came over and pulled out the bells and started banging on them, and I was like, 'Record it!' And then she went up to the bass guitar on 'Timebomb' and started plucking away. She's actually pretty good! She's better on bass than I am!"
Quote:

"It's always funny for me with first singles; even my dearest, most loyal fans are always like 'I hate her first single choice.' Always. Because it's really hard for one song to represent a whole Pink album, because a whole Pink album doesn't make sense. The only common thread is my voice"

Pieces_of_SEVEN 20th July 2012 03:47 AM

I'm definitely excited for the album!

Delicious n Bold 12th September 2012 09:44 PM

Delicious n Bold 12th September 2012 11:52 PM

But you should check out Try on YouTube! It's great!

Pieces_of_SEVEN 15th September 2012 06:20 AM

TeamAyu2004 28th September 2012 06:59 PM

my signature move
is one of the best on their... (I like others, but this one stands out)

Pieces_of_SEVEN 29th September 2012 01:16 AM

I bought one of my best friends, who is obsessed with Pink, the vinyl release of her new album, and he LOVED it. I'm so glad. :)

Such a solid album! Only track from the deluxe version I care for though is Run.

TeamAyu2004 2nd October 2012 01:26 AM

^ run is a very good song, but My Signature Move just screams me... lol

I found the Japanese bonus track for download... he King Is Dead But The Queen Is Alive.
I think i like that song more then My Signature Move... its amazing.

SURREAL__RAINBOW 5th October 2012 11:07 AM

She's sooooo big here in Australia, people really really love her :yes

I won't be listening to the new album until I can actually buy it :cry

Corvina 21st August 2017 05:33 AM

So, her new single What About Us plus MV is out and the new album is coming October 13.
I personally didn't like her last album much, but I really like What About Us, so I'm looking forward to the new one now.
What do you think about it?

Here's the tracklist for the new album Beautiful Trauma:

01 Beautiful Trauma
02 Revenge
03 Whatever You Want
04 What About Us
05 But We Lost It
06 Barbies
07 Where We Go
08 For Now
09 Secrets
10 Better Life
11 I Am Here
12 Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken
13 You Get My Love

Funhouse and M!ssundaztood are still two of my favourite albums ever.

leafyamazaki 21st August 2017 07:29 AM

I really like 'What about us'. Looking forward to her new album as well. I only really liked a handful from her last album (the ones released as singles). One of my favorites is still 'I'm Not Dead'.

xLuna&1LOVE 21st August 2017 08:23 AM

I like the song, but somehow it really doesn't feel like I am listening to a P!nk-song.
Lyrically yes, only the arrangement is so EDM-ish. It is a good comeback, even though I hope the album will have some gems that remind me of the great rock chick she was back in the day.

EndOfTheWorld 21st August 2017 10:51 AM

I was disappointed in the comeback. It doesn't sound to much like Pink. The subtle political tone is also kind of a turn off. But it is still a nice song that I don't mind listening to. I anticipate hearing the rest of the album.:yes

It is for you? It's not the first time she did that.

I don't mind EDM as I like the genre and her trying it out.
What About Us is in the same vein as Just Like Fire (which I like better actually), so I expect the album to be a mix between Pop/Rock and some EDM.

Corvina 29th September 2017 02:05 PM

New single for the upcoming album.

Beautiful Trauma:

NintendoHTF1242 30th September 2017 12:53 AM

I’m loving the chill vibes of What About Us. Much better than Just Like Fire.

Corvina 5th December 2017 11:43 PM

Can we just appreciate how awesome the video for Beautiful Trauma is?

Love those dance breaks especially!
