Maki Goto is a Japanese singer, lyricist and former actress. Born and raise in Edogawa, Tokyo, Goto began her musical career in 1999 when she joined Morning Musume as the only member of the third generation. Her first single with the group, "Love Machine", topped the Oricon single charts and sold over a million copies. Goto was the lead vocalist of the group up until her graduation from the group in 2002. While still a member of Morning Musume, Goto released her debut solo single "Ai no Bakayarō" in 2001, which topped the Oricon charts. Soon after she released her debut album Makking Gold 1 (2003), which debuted at number four on the Oricon album charts.

In 2007 at her G-Emotion II: How to Use Sexy concert, Goto announced she was graduating from Hello! Project. In 2008, Goto signed with Avex Group sub-label Rhythm Zone and returned to the music scene at A-nation '08. In 2009, under the stage name Sweet Black feat. Maki Goto, she released her debut mini-album Sweet Black. Goto transferred to Avex Trax in 2010, and released her second mini-album, One, which marks her official comeback as a singer

Love the first post but it looks like you forgot マッキングGOLD① in the discography section.

Can't wait for more news about Gloria; I hope it's something new and not just a cover album or something.

Though, I actually wouldn't mind another mini album like ONE. It took a while for me to get into it but once I did I rather liked the whole thing. If Avex wants Maki to be their resident idol, I can't say that I'll be disappointed. :)

Unless the covers are going to be printed on glossy or shiny foil paper I think they look kind of cheap. :P

They should've just gone for a simple b&w portrait type of look and gotten rid of the star field.

Would like the covers more if the text was a different font and the "stars" weren't there but the pictures themselves are amazing.

I love the covers. I personally love seeing Maki in a see of stars. I'm just trying to figure out the constellations on them. I think the one of the CD only is part of one of the dippers. I could be completely wrong though. All I know is that Maki looks HOT!

So it looks like the posters that are coming with the album are calendar posters and there are two types, meaning that each probably only has half a year on it.

If that's the case, I'll probably just order the album from YesAsia because I am not going to order both editions to get a full calendar and I don't think I could stand having *half* of one. :laugh

^ avex is really trying to leech her fans money with this release :gnash I expect special cards to be announced for the Doji version too just like last time.

Tsunku did indeed help Goto Maki turn from a nobody into a popular singer, and she shouldn't forget that.

The song is okay, but Maki's look in the pv is gorgeous!

I still prefer the SWEET BLACK songs, but this is not bad at all.

The PV and song really suprised me. I thought it would be some boring ballad but, the song and the PV is actually pretty good. ^_^

Finally got to listening to it and Fake is beyond amazing. Definitely my top track off this. Stand out tracks for me were Fake, Age Kyoku, and Ashiato. Heaps tons better than ONE.
