Current Wikipedia Picture?
 

I've been wondering .. It's not that I simply dislike it, but the current Ayu's picture at wikipedia has been there for ages (it's old 3 years to be more precise...), I think it should be changed? :)

I mean, there must be some new Ayu's picture, which would be more suitable I guess :) Anyone who's got some ideas? Anyone who agrees?

As long as they don't change it as often as her damn last.fm picture. I don't know if people are obsessed with voting the pics up and down, but it changes every other day. It's annoying.

I think the one that's currently there is fine. Sure it's not her prettiest pic, but it's recent enough and therefore relevant :)

Not a fan her the hairstyle really, but I like how celebrity-like it makes her look with those sunglasses. :P

We should be happy that there even is a picture.
So many Japanese artists don't have a single photo in their wiki article.

From what I know, it should be a "real", not studio photo - candid etc. that means not a picture from a photoshoot.

Though I've noticed a lot of people's wiki photos are horrible.

There are tons of awesome 2008 photographs (from Paris and stuff) and I'm sure there are some 2009 photos from London that could easily be used.

I really dislike this one, but at least it's not as outdated as Koda Kumi's x_X Eek.

Well, someone's who got an account there, and knows the rules and stuff, can change it :) And of course, it must be a "real" photo, and it can't be changed as often as last.fm's photos... That would be ridiculous. :P

Yeah, i hope it gets changed. She kinda looks like any other celebrity in that pic :P

actually it was changed, that pic was a full body photo but
someone changed it to a closer photo of the same pic because "it made her look divaish"

Well, I am for using a London pic for wikipedia. Those UFO-sunglasses just look ridiculous.

I'm almost certain that the person who uploads the photo of Ayu onto the Wikipedia page must have copyright over the photo. That's why most celebrities' photos aren't perfect because they're not photo shoots but they're taken by just about anyone with a camera.

Maybe one of the fans from LA who got to take pictures of her/with her would be willing to share their picture for the wiki page. I mean, that's as current as it gets! :D

But we have to be aware of Wikipedia's image uploading rules... Here's the deal: If you actually OWN the picture, put it into Wikimedia Commons under a free license (public domain, GFDL and/or Creative Commons Attribution (ShareAlike if you want to), or something else that is under the free license standards set by Wikimedia)! The ones that look professional are copyrighted, like the one that she did for singing Microphone back on the RnRC-SDF tour on the last page, so don't upload that to Wikipedia.

@Mari-Chan: I know, so I hope no one uses any 2007 picture or the recent photos...cause she does not look good in them at all.

Who cares if pictures usually dont look good...I know there are free photos of Ayu where she looks awesome.

a lot of the pictures taken in LA turned out pretty good. I think someone should crop her out and put it up, since they own the picture.

^yes! I do, too. I also like some of the more recent ones in the past few days, like the pic of ayu and Brian together. She just looks like an angel~
