According to TA,

The 2011 calendar will go on sale from 22 December onwards. The shooting was done in LA, and there will be a special TA-only gift, probably the clear file.

Finally the calendar information is out - and it's going to be released on the same day Ayu's album and (Urata Naoya) collaborative single are going to be released!

Why'd it have to be released on the same day with the album, and yet, near Christmas too, if I order the calendar, I'll received it on mid/end of January, since custom always hold my ayu calendar for 2 weeks *sigh*
Sorry ayu-sama~ I prefer if you released School calendar like Johnny's if you're gonna release your calendar at the near end-of-year x__x

LOL true. I'm interested in who is shooting this calendar though. since shimoko isn't in LA it's someone else shooting it for the first time in a few years now. maybe ND CHOW? or someone new altogether? really excited to see the results. :):)

But you know what, I kinda think that she doesn't get involved in the process of "editing" of the photos. I bet they just show them to her and she picks what she likes, AND THEN (shimoko in this case) will get them photoshopped XD

Cant believe she did that to us overseas fans. *SIGHS* Still, I'm glad we're getting one. I just spent most of my money cause i thought she may have not been releasing one. Anyways, I borrowed my mom's credit card and had to pay for Fedex delivery to make sure to get it in time for New Year's.

Like some people pointed out (in another thread I think?) sometimes it's just the lighting, not necessarily photoshop. Let's face it, Ayu is getting older and it's starting to show a little bit. They've already tried to hide her age by increasing the lighting in the Sunrise PV and if you notice sometimes her photoshoots are a lot "brighter" and more colorful to hide her aging. So while there is still photoshop involved, I'm sick of people saying something's "over photoshopped" when that might not necessarily be the case. Yes, it does happen, but not all the time.

^I think she'll still be naturally beautiful even when she's 85. She has a beautiful heart and spirit and that's what matters most. :heart

Woa~ the calendar is not really pricey than before. I have a feeling to buy it. But $35 for a calendar?! I rather buy a pair of shoes n get a free calendar. I'll buy it when I have a job.

is HMV never sell 2011 Calendar? I didn't find it in HMV...

^why does HMV Japan say the release date is Dec 25th while YA and CDJ says its Dec 22nd?

I thought Sunrise's overcontrasting/oversaturated color was because that day wasn't really that great, but good enough for shooting [blue skies and happiness like the song title] so they made some adjustments. IIRC, they had to delay the shoot a few days/weeks due to bad weather.

As far as I can remember, they have delayed her calendars for whatever reason for the last 5 years, haha. I don't think we've ever known why though.
