Band's Bio

Formed in April 2007 , BREAKERZ is a J-rock trio that is made up of 3 gorgeous & extremely talented guys : frontman vocalist DAIGO & guitarists AKIHIDE and SHINPEI .

BREAKERZ started off as DAIGO and SHINPEI's project . Meeting through a mutual friend and various recording sessions , they worked together to make a demo . DAIGO is in charge of music and lyrics while SHINPEI is in charge of arrangements .

In the span of 1 month , they created 40 songs . Later on , they are joined by DAIGO's longtime friend who has worked many times with him in his band , songwriting , playing guitar and singing chorus . That is AKIHIDE & the 3 of them joined together to form BREAKERZ .

The origin of the band's name is "壊SHITAI solid" , which means to have a "destroy the moment" feeling , in that there is a mission to push the limitations and genres of music in the future .

BREAKERZ's name was chosen by SHINPEI (YAY :D) . He chose the name because he stated that before the completion of a song , it gives the other members an idea of how their roles in the group is going to be like , be it whether you're a singer , songwriter or a composer .

Their music can't be described in just one word . It's a fusion mix of AKIHIDE's UK rock guitar sounds & SHINPEI's American rock guitar sounds which're both combined with DAIGO's somewhat sexy lush seductive voice xD .

The band's historic debut is on 6 June 2007 with their first single WAKE UP MY SOUL / THE TRAIN's GONE ... became available on iTunes Japan .

BREAKERZ is signed by ZAIN Records , a member of the Being Giza Group .

The trio made their major debut with their self-titled debut album on July 25th 2007 . Their first live performance took place at SHIBUYA BOXX on August 5th 2007 . BREAKERZ doesn't have a permanent bassist nor a drummer in their duty roaster , so they use various support members when comes to recording of their material & also in live performances too .

This's the success of 3 wonderful hot guys in their 30's supposedly (!!!!) & they have definitely come a long way since the beginning of their formation :heart

They might be rumoured to be their 30's but they're kids at heart at the end of the day :laugh

all 3 of them love each other , well probably way too much as evident to the gazillion fanservice rabu rabu moments between them . Oh guys will be guys what can I say ?

1) His late maternal grandpa was the 74th prime minister of Japan ie. Noboru Takeshita

2) His oldest sister is Eiki Eiki & she's a mangaka (comic artist/cartoonist) . Eiki Eiki drew/published a comic book last year on 3rd June called Eiki Eiki no Buchaketai !! which centres on DAIGO & their late grandpa

3) DAIGO's famously well known for his WISH rock pose . On why he use the word WISH , it's because it derives from the word Wissu which's like a greeting that school students used , kind of like the Japanese version of the word 'hi'

4) In real life , DAIGO's a complete DoM (Mascochist) but onstage during live performances & in the band's PVs , he adopts a DoS (Sadist) personality

5) DAIGO is responsible for close to writing/composing (sometimes both but depends) 90% of BREAKERZ's material

6) 3 things he cannot live without - phone , iphone & gloves

7) Prior to the release of DAIGO FIRST PHOTOBOOK DAIGOING L.A , it was DAIGO's 1st visit to US where he went to L.A for 5 days to shoot/complete the photobook . In fact that was also the 1st time he ever stepped outside of Japan somemore :O

8) DAIGO has tremendous respect to Himuro Kyosuke (whom composed DAIGO's debut solo single MARIA when he was DAIGO☆STARDUST) , Acid Black Cherry's yasu , L'Arc~en~Ciel~'s hyde & holds them in high regard/esteem .

In fact BREAKERZ super respect ABC's yasu , so much so that DAIGO calls yasu Aniki / elder brother in his blog .

He's also good friends with Anna Tsuchiya , SID's lead singer/frontman Mao , GACKT & abingdon boys school's lead singer/frontman Takanori Nishikawa aka T.M.Revolution

9) Aside from WISH , from this year onwards , DAIGO has added another lingo on his list aka Kuraimu (pronounced as Climb)

1) AKIHIDE does not reveal which year he was born in , even though there're rumours that he's the oldest in the trio . It has been like that way back even when he was in the now defunt rock band FAIRY FORE

1) Just like AKIHIDE , SHINPEI does not reveal which year he was born in but there're rumours he's the youngest in the trio

2) SHINPEI's the only one so far in BREAKERZ that has not written lyrics for their discography as he tends to lean on the composing side of things at this point in time

4) His given name means "modest peace" (It was in order for him to become a modest & peaceful person . So his parents named him like so)

Remember I said I recently watched BB concert well they came out wearing a fingerless glove on one hand and I was like 8D DAIGO :alien

and then yesterday I watched the 4th episode of Juui Dolittle where there was a white and black usagirabbit whose name just happened to be mimi so all I could think was usamimi :D

yeah acoustic of BAMBINO was really a nice surprise & that goes for SUMMER PARTY & also FAKE LOVE

especially FAKE LOVE . I was quite shocked when they chose to acoustic-fic it (since the original's so bad ass rocking) but the final result's unusual sounding if not awesome

I know Nat's still waiting for them to make an acoustic of EMILY LOL D:

fake love wasn't what I was expecting and when you told me what it was like I really had no idea just what you meant untill I listened to it for myself. I prefer the other version though.

Do you have any idea which of the lives if any Makoto and Akihide have been apart of as Acid Black Cherry???

but yeah FAKE LOVE acoustic is really unusual & it's a total 360 degree change from what was originally offered in Ao no Mirai super big time

actually most of the tracks except for DESTROY CRASHER are amazing . I want to hear an acoustic of Kimi no Koe ga Kikoeru which's another concert staple fave *O*

France seems to have alot of Desserts, maybe they're not of French origin though e.g Éclair, Choux bun, crème brulée etc etc etc .

crème brulée is a French dessert . Brulee means burnt sugar in French so basically crème brulée is a custard dessert which has a burnt sugar on the top

yeah & some of GLAY's songs also have that French inspired sound too :O

yes I believe so , they did talked about such acoustic performances on its own on their blogs & it's where you had to buy both editions of B.R.Z ACOUSTIC where there're ticket applications which you have to mail both together to qualify for a lucky draw to go for some acoustic gigs which they performed

I remembered they talked about such things before on their blogs & I even recalled seeing SHINPEI in their B.R.Z ACOUSTIC outfits but obviously with a different hair colour LOL

When I think of BRZ accoustic I always picture shinpi wearing that jacket (in the last pic) :)

yeah checkered prints ! but this time round , it works for him not like those trousers he wore in WINTER PARTY o_o

for B.R.Z ACOUSTIC , the checkered prints worked well for him which I really like & the same thing goes for those really cool unusual tortoise looking like shades he had which he also wore them for hEaVeN too :heart

I think they all looked great for B.R.Z Acoustic but i'm starting to find Daigo abit off...
Also he should stick to dark hair.

yeah Shinpi looked awesome no doubt about it . I dislike Aki-sama's long hairdo initally but it has grown on me xD

I think Shunrenka is why I find that they are all looking good
and probably why when i see Daigo outside of that, he isn't as good as i initially thought lol

DAIGO only looked great in the Shunrenka PV but even in the making offshot , he looked weirder than usual

but not as bad as the promo pics of him which he's being photoshopped until he looked like someone that I'm not able to recongise LOL

but yeah I blame the hair colour that he had because he was back to hot mode in Gekijou & let alone BUNNY LOVE & REAL LOVE 2010

I really didn't like the way Daigo looked in hEaVeN and he was really creeping me out when he was getting in on Shinpi's screen time on one of thier offshots ~ I forgot its name but he wore a grey top, and a black and white scarf. especially the time he was moving to the floor to get in the camare so scary :S

This year , DAIGO went on this variety show called DERO with Murakumi & they had a lot of fun

no no I think you misunderstand what I wrote,
I was saying that, a girl who is an Arashi fan, told me that she doesn't like kanjani8 because they sing out of tune, The girl is also a BREAKERZ fan and said she doesn't really like DAIGO's wish because she is all about being pitch perfect.

I started to appreciate Akihide even more, things that were going un-noticed before;

DAIGO was like is it ok because he's wearing gloves & the shop owner was saying no worries xD

I used to wear gloves ~ winter ones not DAIGO style
when handling my guinea pigs because I was scared of them :rolleyes

I love that video of them at the pet shop :smitten :love

if you ask me , I think that's probably my fave clip of the guys which I came across this year , promo wise

it's a rarity for them to interact with animals & they did such a great job doing so with the rabbits inside the pet shop

I don't know if in future the same thing can happen again but you can always hope for it to happen isn't it ?

Inazumarock Festival 2010 digest



This's just a teaser clip digest on what to expect when the Inazumarock Festival 2010 will be aired supposedly in full later today & tomorrow on .

The guys performed Shakunetsu from that clip & I also recalled they performed Gekijou on that day too
