A WORLD IS ONE is one of the most memorable things happened in 2010.

No wonder we're celebrating the 1st year!

Umm... So what exactly are we celebrating..?

A World Is One :heart It's the day that ayu got our special book! :)

Oh my gosh, has it really been a year?? :heart I'm still so happy that we could accomplish such an amazing project <333

wow...a year already. that's insane. good times! =]

In my opinion there are several very important days for Ayumi's international fans. I think in regards to A World is One, the first is Ayumi's CNN interview. This was the moment we all realized that OMG Ayu can indeed speak in English!!! Before that, no one knew for sure if Ayu could seriously speak in English. Suddenly, there was a possibility that we would be able to actually communicate to Ayu!!!

A World is One came along after this, and I think would not have come along without the CNN intervier. AWIO is probably THE single most important even to international fans. This was the moment we said to Ayu, "We are here Ayu, and we love you!" Before, I really don't think Ayu knew how many fans she really had outside of Japan. Suddenly, she knew about us, suddenly we were legitimized! And then when Ayu got a Twitter account and used "a world is one" in her second tweet, it was amazing, because we all knew that Ayu had signed up for Twitter to be able to connect with fans all over the world.

So today is a good day to celebrate all of Ayu's fans coming together to show our love to her. Without A World is One, I think things would be very very much different right now!

A year already? Where did 2010 go! Still remember that day like it was yesterday. My only regret is that I had to leave for the train and wasn't able to be there for the presentation!

Tbh I forgotten that project and I didn't send my video within the deadline lol. But I haven't heard anything about and nobody bumped the thread. Well, much more time for make my video yay! :laugh.

I can't believe it's been a year...

wow! it has already been a year! I am so happy I was able to participate in the book. It was such an amazing experience, especially ayu's TA blog entry about it that made us all tear up. It was one of the best experiences I've had at this forum <3

Wow it's been a year... that time was so exciting! I really waiting hand on foot on the updates, and when Ayu wrote that TA message I think I literally cried.

I can't believe it's been a whole year since that hectic week of making the book xD I think Ayu's really bonded with her overseas fans in the last year more than ever before <3

I'm proud that I was one of the lucky few who were there that night when the Book was handed to her... It was memorable indeed :heart

Yeah, time goes fast, and it has been a year since this - last year Ayu was in London, today Ayu's still in Los Angeles, waiting to see when she will come back to the western side of the Pacific to the land of the rising sun...

Well, congrazt ^^ I just don't see this as a big-huge-moment for me, sorry. I celebrate her birthday, 1st single anniversary, my first ayu song and so on and so on. Those things are special for me. The CNN interview and AWIO does nothing for me. But still, nice of you guys to do that book for her and it's good that you celebrate it when it's important to you.

Don't think of it as a fan celebration. Think of it as the day that we, the fans, came together as a whole. :)

I like to imagine that occasionally, she flips the book open and looks over our letters and it makes her feel good. Thinking about this project still makes me smile.
