Well this is just a RUMOR..

I heard it from my friend. He's ayu fans too.
He said that the background of ayu's family isn't like what we read in internet. As we know that ayu's father had left the family when she was three and little ayu lived with her mother and grandmother. :rolleyes

However, my friend said that actually ayu was adopted by Yakuza :irked after his father had left them... Ayu was bound by a contract to be a singer with Yakuza's family. This fact (he considered it as a fact) was hidden from public, because it is about Yakuza. So only a few people know about this.

He also said that there was a video in Japan which is canceled to be distributed because it tells about ayu's family (the yakuza one). :thud

Your friend has a wild imagination. With no proof no one will even care. As I could make up a story like this in 3 minutes...and even say that I have a friend who is very close to some avex officials ^^

I'm sure it's fake. Young Ayu didn't seem to have any potential in singing at all, there couldn't be any contract of that kind. Besides she and her family were not that rich - no way they would have been left without financing.

And, of course, if that was true, NOBODY knew a thing about this lol.

I have a friend, who's friend's friend is actually the best friend of Max Matsuura's godson's daughter and well apparently I was told that the Mannie thing was false i.e A SCAM, and that Ayu is actually secretly dating Jorge now.

It is strange but not uncommon....former Hello!Project member Hitomi Saitou suddenly announced that she is already married. Nobody even know she was in a relationship and suddenly some people blogged about her marriage.

Some people just don't want their private lives exposed. It's not only about them, it will affect the spouse too. Her husband may face problems at work and in society if everyone knows he is married to someone famous. So the idols often hide these kinda things, not for themselves, but to protect their loved one.

ooh,and if this is real...why we saw photos of her real mum?now i'm sure that is fake but who know...

You are right. I don't think it's bad to hide it a bit. I also wouldn't want everyone to check out my relationship, especially since it's new.
Then again, about Hitomi Saitou, her husband is more working in public than she is nowadays. But either way, I don't see it a bad thing. As long as a couple is happy I don't care if they show it to everyone or hide it until the last minute.

Actually there has been rumors about Ayu's father being a Yakuza member which I do think at least has some possibility. But as far as her being under contract and all that, this is the first I've heard of that; probably just a wild imagination.
