I don't really like Stay much. The chorus is just not good for me. You're So Beautiful is ok but still not all the way there for me. But as someone mentioned before, I too like UNIVERSE because there really aren't many tracks that I just hate and can't stand. Thank God they left Hashire off for that matter. Lol. |

I thought Universe was good. It's simply just, an album full of songs that were a maturation of different styles that she's been experimenting with since...idk Black Cherry? For her it's good...
but I think she's mixing up sounds more now for Deja Vu...even if she still has the, characteristic cutesy song and stuff, they seem to draw from more influences, and I think it might make for more interesting stuff, and it might be better. |

She spoke to fans again, and said something about I Don't Love You ?!!, BE MY BABY (which she accidentally called 'Hey Boy' once), POP DIVA, Bambi and Melting. I also think she said something about Aitakute as well but I'm not sure since I don't understand japanese that much.
She sang some parts from I Don't Love You ?!!, and to me it sounded like it's going to be a upbeat song but who knows, there was no music on the background. She also sang a part from a song before going on a break (now she's back in the studio), and I didn't catch the title so it might have been a song with a japanese title. :) But I kinda liked it. She also showed pictures from Dejavu's booklet. It looked awesome. :) She was really funny, it made me smile. ^.^ |

^ She didn't have her own show, she was a regular host every tuesdays I think on OH!MYRADIO or something but she stopped going on that sometime in 2009. It was cool when she used to go on that though, she used to premier her new songs herself :P

Kuu has had this Twitter account since 2010?! And people were just starting to follow her. Everytime I refreshed the page, she had more followers. But, I do believe it is staff run. |
I sent a message to YA inquiring about the Dejavu CD-cover-sized calendar and asked if it will be added as a first press bonus. They responded that the have forwarded my inquiry to the relevant department and will let me know once that information is available. So I will post here and let everyone know what they respond in case anyone has already placed an order at YA or wants to and is interested in getting the calendar.

Aw, I was sleeping and working due to time difference, but I would have loved seeing her again at Ustream! The last time it was at the weekend , so I could watch everything.
We still having more promo being broadcasted there though. I put all dates and the Ustream link in the first post yesterday. Choitashi life sounds like an uplifting happy song from the preview. Maybe that's why this album is called Dejavu change the tracks and oh Dejavu...I feel like I've heard this before :p next track, why does this keeping happening, track after that "oh this is refreshing :)" and after that oh god did I just start this album all over again :P seems like that's what I'm gonna be doing when going through it.

Wow I wasn't expecting an album of cute songs. The cover is so hott and fierce I was thinking it'd be more in-your-face sexy songs. Cutesy is cool too though.

It's funny how some of you say Dejavu's going to suck (or that's what it sounds like to me) and when you hear the album, you're like "OMFG IT'S THE BEST ALBUM EVER! O.O" or something like that. What I always find funny about koda music...is that, like, even the songs I'm not so OMFG about, like say, Lick Me...when they're on my itunes, and somehow the shuffle hits the song...they're still fun to listen to lol Catchy melodies. Happened to me with the fishbowls. After the first listen of those songs, I never thought I'd listen to them ever again...but then every once and a while, the shuffle would hit them...and I'd find myself singing along lol |
^I know what you mean. :D It has happened to me sometimes too. Even with Kuu. Especially when I had just started listening to her back in 2006. I didn't quite like some sexy songs but when I heard them again I thought nice beat and even found myself dancing and singing. :'3

The people are acting like that because they just forgot that we have POP DIVA and Lollipop... UNIVERSE have two new dance songs (UNIVERSE and Step Into My World) two cute songs (Comes Up and SUPERSTAR) and three ballads (No Way, You're So Beautiful and Stay) and was awesome.

Atomic Energy (introduction of affection) does not have any lyrics either, nor does Introduction to Kingdom. x) I don't know but it sounds like it's weird to you but Kuu has done it before. And I think it's cool, though this album starts to sound like affection to me. :p Especially now that I read Interlude will have lyrics. To me Best Friend Of Mine is the interlude of affection, so in my eyes Kuu has used interludes once before. I'm sure this album will be awesome. :heart

Ok, this entire time everyone has been talking about AT THE WEEKEND and I could never find out where the Hell everyone heard it. I tried that site full of demos from the people she supposedly was working with and could not find it. Now that I hear the preview, I think I just pissed myself and my jaw hit the floor!

I learnt never to judge from Kuu's previews but if the FULL song was good, the bad preview would make me love it. I recall No way being super weak for me because I heard nothing interesting other than airy chorus..but on the whole, its a drop dead gorgeous song. Same went for POP DIVA and Lollipop, great verses.
What on earth is with AT THE WEEK END's preview?! LOL..ok I know they did this because this is potentially the best new album track. Passing By sounds like it could be epic..but it feels so american. Okay sounds weird from that snippet. Im afraid that the cute songs will instead be the prime material lol! but it's all too early. Im gonna jam AT THE WEEK END no doubt. (who has the link for the demo again??) |
