And what about the tour? I don't think that people in Japan feel like going to a concert in the next days/weeks.

I heard Koda Kumi's concert has already sold out, so I'm pretty sure Ayu won't have a problem with her tour either. Unless she decides otherwise.

I think they'll probably do some sort of charity thing for the first few concerts, or even the entire tour! Like all of the proceeds from some good will go towards disaster relief. I think most people will just want to try and have some semblance of a normal life despite what's happened, so I don't think the tour is in danger.

As for the postponing... I wonder if they'll be delayed until late April? Maybe the Blu-rays will be coming out the same day as everything else?

That is perfectly fine, in light of the current developments I'd say take as long as you need.

Total agree with the pospond of all the releases, ppl in Japan have better things to do atm than buying CDs + Stuff.

It whould be really nice if all the stars whould turn their upcoming Tours into Charity events, imagine what mass of money whould be collected this way.

When I started to read more and more news about postponed releases, I began to think when it happens to Ayu's releases. Hopefully it's not postponed too far away either because that wouldn't be nice. But even if that happens, it's very understandable because of the situation in Japan. But I'm sure that eventually these will be released when it's sure that everything's okay. :)

For now, no changes in Ayu's schedule tour, but with this important problems with electricity will see... even the fist dates are in the middle and south part of the country, not cancelling them is an opptimistic view of the circunstances.

I think that the Blu-ray releases are ready just to be in stores at this moment, why to cancell it then? ;)

Pretty much as expected then. Totally understandable and probably the best thing to do. (even if I'm a bit sad to wait some more).

I dunno if they will do a charity thingy but I would love the idea! Concert, single, collab with different artists, with ayu, without her... anything would sound pretty nice to me.

It was expected. But I still let out a selfish "Nooooo!". But waiting a few more weeks won't hurt. And letting Japan recover would be better.

Hmm.. looks like an earthquake can really change everything. :( But it's understandable. Ayu cant be around promoting her new releases when everywhere else is in debris. :(

I think they took a good decision. Everything if it was released now, specially the albums, would surely flop like nothing is ever flopped before in Japan.

Well, it's understandable cuz now it's more important to settle down, and i can wait whenever the release time come out~:)

This news makes me sad, of course, but compared to whats going on in Japan, it's nothing! I totally understand.

Actually, the only thing that really bothers me about this is that I'll have to make sure I hold enough money in my bank account to cover the order when it does release.

They'd better postpone Ayu's Arena Tour also. I'm kind of concerned there as the aftershocks continue, a lot of cleanup is needed, as well as the nuclear issues and the power distribution.

I was expecting on AVEX's decision on this since Japan is on a very critical times lately.

Yes, cuz the only thing that is sure is that it will be released this year, I guess their db requires an actual date so that's why they've done it. No worries there.

I wouldn't be worried. They put to Dec 31st, just because they have no idea when they'll be released at this point. They'd rather put a later date than a date that's too soon and then have to push it back again.

yeah 31st december is a bit too long.. So they mean from now till end of the year, no avex singers will release anything? that's a huge some of loss for avex!

That release date is just something YesAsia posted. It's not official nor it means they will actually release them on 31st December.

Instead of panicking right away it seems to be harder for people to use their brains for a moment. If for instance YesAsia switched the release date to 10th April and avex didn't then YesAsia would have to change their dates once again, so to avoid that they've done what they had to ^^

YesAsia sent the same Email also for the other releases of other artists! So it's not only for Ayu! When I've read the email...I got an heart attack XDD wHAAT? From March to December??..

Like I said in another thread already; they should release ayu-mi-x 7 on some online store as digital release till they deliver the physical release. That would be very well =D

The thing is, their database prolly requires an actual date with a DAY, MONTH and YEAR. So they can't really just write postponed to a later date, but don't worry, they've already updated the TA/Official website with the new theme so they are surely not going to keep it for the next 9 months...:yes

^ yea, but then again the situation in Japan is still unstable if it worsens then it will be postponed even more

I'm hoping the same thing, too! I hear there are volunteers risking their lives going in there to fix the problem until electricity is restored... :tired:dead2

^ yeah, according to the latest news, the electricity has been restored to all the cores and cores 5 and 6 were successfully repaired as far as the cooling system goes and that they are now trying to do the same thing to cores 1-3 (the 4th one was shut down prior to the quake). It's a good thing that the radiation levels are low 30km away from the plant.

As selfish as this sounds I hope we'll get the new release dates within the next 10 days and hopefully everything will turn out alright.
