It took me a while to realize that she was a part of the bike, lol. I like it, but I don't like it... But, what does it have to do with being born the way you are? Even if you are bike-human hybrid, you should still love yourself? I dunno, considering its Gaga, its probably quite normal.

Love Gaga but the cover is so disappointing, especially after her recent Vogue and Harper's Bazaar shoots were so great.

Honestly, it's the ugliest, most horrendous album cover of all time. I think her "monsters" have just inflated her ego so much now that she believes anything she does is perfect and will be loved by everyone. While some of her little monsters are still so deluded that they actually claim to like it, anyone with even the smallest amount of sense can see that it's absolutely hideous. It's seriously so bad that it will result in her losing my purchase. And she called it the album of this decade. Get real Stefanie...

At first I almost fainted, it was so disgusting, now I'm quite neutral about it because the music itself is what counts. But I have to say that this is one of the most crappiest covers ever made for any album. >.>

I do agree though that her single cover was really WOW they should have used that instead. But I do like the egyness of the black and white and the wild apperance of hers, messy.

Wow, I'm surprised at the overwhelming votes of NO xD I was also a no.. I can't stand the new cover. It looks like a mashup of Ozzy Osbourne, 50 Cent, and Orange County Choppers. Seriously.. it looks so awful. And it has nothing to do with being born the way you are. In fact, to me it seems just the opposite. I don't mind the special edition of the album (the one with the close-up of her face) but I just wish she would've gone another route for the regular cover.

Just because its art doesn't mean we have to like it. I personally, would have preferred a beauty shot. Covers can be pretty and edgy/wild too, imo. To me, she just looks like she rolled out of bed.

I feel like EVERY cover is black and white nowadays though. I'm already so over it. I know it's classic but I almost always prefer things to be in color. The Fame Monster's covers were great, but even the Born This Way single cover just doesn't do much for me. 9 times out of 10 I feel like people are using B&W just to be edgy or whatever and it just doesn't work on me.

I don't like the way people consider something weird as bad or ugly. I don't like her music for the most part, but looove the cover. She could have manipulated the picture a bit more so it doesn't look like she's just on top of the motorcycle instead of one with it, but still love it!

When you said you were being ironic with that statement, it could be taken (which is how I read it) that you think that the picture that we all think is ugly is actually a work of art to you. That is ironic, but not sarcastic. I'm not trying to be rude, or give you English lessons, I'm just explaining why I responded the way I did.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's frustrated by how often people confuse irony with something else. I see it more confused with coincidence more than anything else though.

Erm... Took me a few moments to understand what's going on there, and... I don't like it. It's just a little too odd for me. Also, I don't dig her makeup.

Now that I've downloaded the album, and have this cover on iTunes... it creeps me out.
I'm going to change it to the lead single's cover...

In the begining I really didn't like it at all. But as time has gone by, it's starting to grow in me a little bit. I still don't think it's anything great, but I'm at a point where I can at least accept it. But I plan on getting the special edition of the album, so I won't have to look at the gaga-cycle too much anyways. The special edition cover however, I do actually like.

I think the cover is the only thing that's not going to grow on me about this album. Both versions are atrocious. The Deluxe is slightly better because it doesn't have that tacky font on it, but even that is ruined by the ridiculous "GRRR!" face she's making. I expected another symbolic and instantly iconic design like "The Fame Monster" had, but instead we got...this. :(

There are quite a few very good fanmade covers out there, though, and I've found one I'll definitely be using in iTunes and maybe even printing out to put in my CD case. It's similar, but much easier on my eyes:
