Oh and apparently there will be a poster give away to 1000 people who order/preorder lenses... haha so i assume the promo will be coming out soon since they're released on the 31st

I retract my previous statement. Ayu is just the key advertisement character. I don't think she had anything to do with the design/production of the lenses...but techinically the information is very limited haha.

Ayu, isn't that a little dangerous to be promoting? Non-prescription cosmetic lenses can cause a lot of problems. :-/

They actually look very flattering! Usually I find colored contacts just make people look like lizards.

lol, there's "artificial" lenses? Though all contact lenses were...artificial.

And the prescription thing, that's really people's own responsibility! It's not that hard to go see an optician and ask to get your eyes checked, to see if the contact lenses are sitting correctly in your eye. I've never had any problems myself and I've tried A LOT of contact lenses.

I always thought colored contact lenses looked so unnatural and poorly made.
I guess ayu will wear them more often?

Too bad they don't have prescription ones. I'm blind as a bat haha.

And the dangers with contact lenses are there even if they're prescribed to you. It's usually the handler that doesn't store them correctly. The difference with circle lenses is that they theoretically have a longer shelf life, and so people keep them for longer than they should. But there are tons of YouTube vids and blogs about how to keep circle lenses safe and stuff. （＾Ｏ＾）

Well, Ayu wears contacts quite often already. It's always pretty obvious since everyone knows she's got brown eyes xD

But those Sweet days contacts look extremely cheap. The only contacts-brand I like is "Fresh Look". They are quite OK and not as oversized as these circle lenses, which are kind of too big for actually... well, almost any girl's eyes.

I need to get myself some of these! I've only just recently got into wearing coloured contact lenses for Gyaru make-up, and a key element of Gyaru make-up is coloured contact lenses. I particularly like the brown and green~

I like how exaggerated they make the eye look!

As an avid wearer of Japanese contact lenses, I have to say I'm not feeling these. A lot of these are either similar to something that has already been done, or seriously creepy. Except the Apple Green ones. Those are super pretty.

I actually really like this fad of color contacts. A lot of people don't cause they say they don't look real...but I don't think they're meant to look real lol They're meant to look cool...

and they do :heart I love them on all the models in my mags, and I love that they're usually good enough that they can really color your eyes.

Not at all! In Japan, many fashion subcultures are very into wearing contact lenses, and that includes the men. Just look at Gyaru-O and the Visual Kei fashions. And they are catching on in other places. I see lots of guys around town who wear contact lenses.

I was a bit excited when I saw the title, but these contacts look a bit cheap and nothing special ~.~

I really do like these color contacts. I would totally get some green ones if I could afford the $55 price tag.
But alas, I cannot. But actually, $55 isn't too expensive. A friend of mine bought some violet colored contacts for around $75, and they aren't prescription or anything.
And btw, that does look like Ayu's eye to me...but I could be wrong.

I don't think there will be a CM, unless it's a web-only CM. These types of colored contacts aren't things that get TV promotion haha. But maybe one page ads in magazines?
