I actually might get this. I haven't bought FIVE yet (thank god) so this is really good.

TA members will receive a TA limited gift, which I assume is different than the ones that were given out for the other versions, and purchasers will get access to a special site which is only viewable with internet compatible BluRay players, such as a computer that plays BluRay, PS3, etc. So just having a BluRay player connected to you TV won't allow you to see the special site, unless it can access the internet... haha

Not releasing them at the same time is a cheap move. Well at least now we know not to buy her next album because 2 months later they'll release a BluRay version anyway!

I'm upset because avex must anounce it with normal album release. I prefer to have album on blu ray, but what should I do with my CD+DVD which already bought?

Gosh if that's the price for a mini album I wonder what the cost will be if she decides to do this for her next full album release... I need 3 jobs to keep up with this woman.

Lol. Such editions are always released afterwards coz the biggest part of public won't buy them (remember RAINBOW and My Story dvd-audio). This edition is only for collectioners. Compare her DVD and Blu-ray sales, it's clearly seen that blu-ray is not yet that popular in japan now, though it's gaining popularity.

I suppose the blu-ray concert releases sold enough for them to try this out.

I saw a few blu-ray spec cd's in Japan, but they can be played on normal cd players too. Looks like this can't though...

blu-spec cds are something different, as I understand it has nothing to do with blu-ray.

UGH! Now I feel like... why did I get the CD+DVD? Oh, well, I'll keep that one sealed and buy this one for actual use since the Bluray is the proper region for my player. (:

I'm actually annoyed about this. I really want it but I've already spent my hard earned money on the CD+DVD version last month. I probably won't be buying this edition even though I really want to -_-

I feel the same way, especially when the price difference is only 200 yen. Damn... I would buy the blu-ray if I didn't buy the cd+dvd. I dun have a blu-ray player, but I can download the songs here. In fact, I didn't touch my cd+dvd except looking at the booklets... :grumpy

Ugh, they needed to make this announcement much earlier. Maybe the idea was only greenlit after seeing how well FIVE was selling.

i totally want to get this, just for the fact that the region will be correct for me. i hate that all ayu's DVDs are the wrong region and its really a pain to play them.

Wonder if she'll do this with singles as well... I was just thinking about this the other day. As we move towards the bluray age, will J-artists eventually make a habit of releasing CD/bluray versions of singles/albums/mini's or just save the blurays for concerts and big PV collections? It's interesting to think about.

This release however is a cheap and total utter cash in and Avex should be ashamed of themselves. Wasn't planning on buying anything FIVE related anyway so doesn't concern me. :P

This will be the most epic thing since MY STORY DVD-Audio, which made me enjoy an album I dislike by just having impressive 5.1 sound. Now that(actually something even better) happening to an EP I actually LIKE...I just hope it will be 5.1 again.
And it's pretty cheap, too. Only 200Yen more than the CD+DVD version for pretty much the same content in 5 times the quality.

Yeah, that's nice, but only if you have a Blu-ray Disc player... (if you have a PS3, like me, then it's already a Blu-ray player...)

I bought mine for $30USD last year on ebay, wasn't hard to find and wasn't the only one :) So keep a look out!

based on the sticker attached to the slim case, I think this bluray doesn't had 5.1 sound like MY STORY did, geez... No need to buy this then x__x

The release still has point to me because I can't play her DVD's because they aren't the right region. I've always HATED that. Mine came today. (: 'Bout to watch it. & I just realized, I haven't watched any of the making of's yet!!

And what about the sound? Is it surround or just HD but still stereo?
