TVXQ to release ballad single in Japan

Tohoshinki's NEW SINGLE (title TBA) will be released on 11/30!!! It will be a ballad song that fits the winter season. There will be three versions: CD+DVD version, CD version, and Bigeast version.

[Update about Bigeast version]: The limited Bigeast edition with special first press privilege items is only available for Bigeast members. However, you can order the regular Bigeast version at mu-mo shop (note: this site is only available in Japanese) even if you are non-Bigeast (see HERE).

For international fans, right now CDJapan (CD+DVD, CD) and HMV.jp (CD+DVD, CD) has started to accept the pre-orders of the new single.

Below is the translation of the official Bigeast Mail that announces the release date of Tohoshinki's new single. It also includes Yunho and Changmin's messages.

The original album released on 9/28 has ranked No.1 on the Oricon Chart. It is Tohoshinki’s first No.1 for the original album since they debuted!!

MAXIMUM was planned to be title track for their comeback in 2009, but those might be rumors because SM stated while ago they wanted to release TVXQ mini album in April 2010. I think video comes from 2009 though.

Before U Go OT5 is a rumor, it's really only HoMin's song, not recorded before with all five.

It's really interesting how taste can differ. I'll always love them best as 5, because their voices harmonised perfectly with each other.

Right now I think that JYJ makes better music. Not that I hate HoMin's or anything, I just like JYJ's voices better!

Just my opinion, but...
I was introduced to TVXQ after listening to JYJ's The... mini-album, and I found TVXQ5 to be better than HoMin or JYJ... but their new music isn't bad, but I haven't heard anything that compares to a TVXQ 5 song except for In Heaven and Back to Tomorrow :)

I like JYJ's Japanese work. I wasn't a big fan of the English album (except for empty and be the one). It's a shame that it might be a while before they can produce/release any Japanese material.

By the way, I was looking at some clips of the Japan concert held by JYJ, and there was footage of Jejung kissing Yoochun on the cheek, he almost went for the lips... What was that all about?? I love JJ's new hairstyle he picked up from his drama, Protect the Boss.

Really?! I don't know about that, but both - Jae and Yoochun - are big flirts, so I guess it was fanservice or they were just fooling around! :yes

The NEW SINGLE "Winter" will include Tohoshinki's first Christmas song "Winter Rose", and the winter version of "Duet" (from album TONE)!!
In the DVD, two versions of the video clip of "Duet", and also the offshoot movie will be included.

She apparently has a lot of pulling power within Avex and may be one of the people trying to ensure it happens.

Also, SM release her CD's in Korea, maybe they make a good amount of Japan CD sales from her and she can influence their decision to allow it or not? (Pure speculation of course)

@amorphose: Mhm, I'm really surprised and while it would be nice to see Tohoshinki as 5 again, I doubt that this will happen anytime sound.

There are more reasons:

1. Tohoshinki is going to release a new single in March (I think) and it will only be Yunho and Changmin. They are also on tour right now, which will run for a few more months, so I think a reunite is the last thing on their minds.

2. As far as I know, Jae is going to the military later this year and will be gone for two years. So I don't really know when this reunion is supposed to happen.

3. Before these five can reunite, there are sooooo many things they have to talk about! All of them stated clearly that they haven't seen each other or talk to each other since the lawsuit has started more than two years ago.

I think they first need to solve all the issues inside the group and even then, I don't think that it will ever be like it was before between these five.


Yeah...sorry to be a such a pessimist about the whole thing, but I just can't see it happening (anytime soon). Yunho and Changmin also said that they want to continue Tohoshinki like it is right now, so...!

So I wonder about your guys' thoughts about the happening of Jae here recently

I think that the relationship between KPop-idols and their fans is really *****ed up and not healthy at all. Fans need to learn that they can't treat idols like their personal toys, while idols need to understand that hitting and calling their fans names when they can't handle a situation anymore is also not the right way to go.

I just wish somebody in Korea would finally address this issue and then maybe more people would start talking about it and try to change things
It's not helping if they just go: "Yeah, well, saesang fans are crazy. He was right to hit her. Period!"

Right? I'm the same way in this whole mess...I mean the Saesang should learn that these guys are humans too and there are limits and lines that shouldn't be pushed/crossed.

At the same time, violence is never a solution and Jae should get treatment especially if it isn't his first time doing this to a saesang....it's a disturbing viewpoint to look at Korea's treatment with dealing with these crazed fans.

I don't need to explain my standpoint on this, this also explains how I feel about the situation. I just hate how people are saying that hitting is acceptable in asian countries, not sure if that's true, but a grown man hitting a girl that's a stranger to him doesn't seem acceptable. I'm glad that a lot of people see it like I do, but sadly there are also people, who go with the whole: "Oppa didn't mean it!" thing.

Well, I don't think that you have to stop listening to JYJ, only because of what Jae and Yoochun did.
I'm also not a big fan of JYJ's music, but I like quite a few songs. Yes, I haven't listened to them since the incident with Yoochun happened and now after Jae's I'll not listen to their songs in a long while, but I can't say that I'll never listen to them again.

Like I said, the relationship between saesang fans and idols is really messed up, but I think as long as "normal fans" don't deny that their idols do have faults and make mistakes, it's completely okay to go on listening to their music and watch their videos. The thing you should not do is forgetting about or denying what they did or making up excuses for it.


And it's not like Yunho and Changmin are angels. They have also done/said things I side-eye. And we really don't know how many things are swept under the rug by fans, who want to protect their oppas and unnies!!

Oh, I still like JYJ's music, well, I'm actually just a casual listener, same goes for TVXQ. And I agree, homin may not be angels themselves.

As far as the boys hitting women, any possibilities of the audio being fabricated went out the window when C-JeS made them apologize - which I think is ******** in itself. They basically apologized for wanting privacy. I know I'm in the minority on this one, but any sympathy, compassion, love, or respect that JYJ are "required" to show these women is gone the second they cross that line from fans to saesangs, imo. These women are not fans. Hell, I don't even consider them women. Women would have the decency to give these men their privacy. They're followed 24/7 wherever they go. Their homes are supposed to be the only place where they can find that solace and peace they so desperately need and deserve. And it sickens me that these saesangs can so easily intrude on that. I totally and completely understand their frustrations. I'm not saying that JYJ should beat the **** outta them, but if somebody was following me wherever I went, or broke into my home, you're damn sure I would defend myself, no matter who they were. And with seemingly no security, JYJ is forced to defend themselves, so therefore, they shouldn't be held liable for any actions they might have to take against these psychos. And I guarantee if they were guys doing this and not women, it wouldn't even be a problem, which ticks me off too. It's not a domestic violence case. Their lives could be in danger, which is an entirely different thing.

Not to mention, I remember watching a fancam of the guys showing up in LA for The Beginning tour and I was just amazed at how close these girls were getting. It would be so easy for a psycho anti to just rip out a pocket knife and stab one of them. Yunho already was poisoned; it's just a matter of time before something else happens.

Violence aside -- THEY NEED SECURITY.

I remember reading things from a manager and saw the video interview where the girls would like leave feces on the floor or pee at the door like they were marking their territory or something.
