i'm happy with the final set list...can't wait for the DVD and rip watch the progress...and wow...she struggle a lot singing that song...love the orchestra!!! no wonder she not perform it live on TV... |
Seriously, the crowd is SO LOUD during the concert.... I wonder if they lower it for the DVDs?
Also, the arrangements are TO DIE FOR. Mirrorcle World sounds SO EPIC and several of the songs that were given a complete overhaul like M sound SO fresh. Even evolution and Boys&Girls got a bit of a rearrange! |
From the comments I saw on twitter this show was really awesome! :D I can't wait for the DVD:heart! And I am super happy the setlist was prolonged again.

I can't believe what I just watched. Her power, and the power of music, was all in there. The setlist was flawless. I got M rock version, part of Me, latin jazzy version of vogue and far away, epic performance for BRILLANTE, Timmy was singing Bold & Delicious with Peco and Princess xD he appeared more than just in BRILLANTE.
So much to say about this!!! I loveeeeed it. It was totally worth it, I was not going to watch it, but thanks to my auntie I did... I cried, I laughed, and omg. It was just flawless! ALSO, at some point, Shuya almost tripped over and he flipped his finger at someone??? It was so awkward since it was caught on camera XD |

Tomonari as Timmy from BRILLANTE and Yusuke as Ayu in BRILLANTE... hilarious.
Also, the Maro GIF-able moments were pretty awesome and the Go-mi/Ayu/AKI airhumping while they were prepping for Bold & Delicious was just HILARIOUS. Zin bicep kissing too. |

i hope she release 2 DVDs for this tour!! the original setlist with only one outfit and the limited edition one. that would be AWESOME!! since most of the songs r different on both setlist =)

Her vocals in forgiveness are pretty incredible and the arrangement is beautiful. I want to hear the whole song so badly, one of my absolute favorite Ayu songs.

Anyways!!! I finished listening to all songs in MP3 without the visuals to distract me, and this tour is without question her best vocally. Sure, it started off shaky, but once she got into it really, her voice really soared. Part of Me, Days, Brillante, even evolution, everything is amazing. I'm so glad!! Her vocals returned! And most songs are in original key!! Double Plus! |

^ Love song ROCKED it. It was some kind of... "acoustic" version, but at the same time, very rockish and powerful. It was Ayu + Enrique + YO-chan only, if I remember well..

Isn't the pink dress she weard for the songs with Urata und Juno the one, she also weared for the Premiere of the R'N'R Tour in 3D in Cinema... I think it was in HongKOng?
And by the way.. I totaly dislike the arrangements with the Saxophones and the Trompets. I prefer the nornal one's. |

The new arrangements were really amazing and all the songs got an epic instrumental performance.
But i think everyone is overrating Ayu's vocals. They were good in some parts of the concert, but overall they were as always. I really disliked M vocally. They were good in vogue~far away~SEASONS and forgiveness, but that acapella intro was one of the most embarrasing and ridiculous moments ever |

i just heard forgiveness..i honestly ADORE the softer parts and also wish she didnt sound so strong on some of the higher notes..I know she wants to show the power of the song and the song is extremely powerful but some of her words..like her "a"s and "o"s and "yeah"s sounded a lil harsh and flat to me..if she would lighten the force i think it would sound much better.
but that arrangement was so beautiful..i could feel the emotions from just that performance alone. the music. the voice. |
I also think that forgiveness was one of her best performances ever.
It was simply stunning the way she handled the notes and everything! The acapella beginning was awesome, even with the broken english it sounded so beautiful. |

What I really disagree on is the A Song for XX acapella being better. She hit the notes better but it also was much, much easier. The forgiveness acapella is really, really hard though. I'm surprised she even decided to sing it acapella at all. |

This moment in BRILLANTE was gold. And now, remembering how I was sad about this tour when they announced the total change of the concept, it's kinda funny that now, I'm expecting it as never before... s2 Even with the ustream transmission her vocal was pretty good, i can't imagine it in the DVD! =O |

I honestly thought her vocal for BRILLANTE wasn't all that good. She was SCREAMING in my opinion. But, because it's BRILLANTE, nothing can ruin it. Not even screaming vocal.
Speaking of which, who else thinks Ayu should hire Timmy as BG Vocal for every concert? Wow. |
I must say that the show was way better than expected. The live band was a perfect decision. Ayu's vocals were good (even great) sometimes but there were another parts where she was just screaming. Anyway, it was a great concert (worst arena tour since 2003-2004 but a good show anyway).
But please Ayu.... Change that hair NOW!! |
the concert was pure awesome!! My fav part of this concert is the arrangement of the songs and the orchestra especially the horns/brass group! They were so into it! Love this concert so much!
It was funny when the 2 band members dressed up as timmy and ayu from the brilliante performance. |

"The finger" insult really isn't as insultive in Asia as it is in the West. It's more an act of defiance, and in the situation it merely looks like Shu-Ya was joking around with the audience that laughed~ I doubt they would of been insulted. Classic culture clash lol :laugh
