The time works out perfectly in my time zone, but I'm not sure whether to buy a ticket or not. My internet can be really temperamental so I don't want to buy a ticket to watch something that ends up lagging or cutting out. hmm. :( undecided.

I hope someone records this :) I know we will get the TV broadcast a few days after it but that usually takes 3 or so days and if someone records the live stream(or just parts) we will probably get it faster :)

Well, you would have to pay someone and then they would have to go into your account and buy the ticket.
Basically, you make an account on USTREAM and pay for the ticket associated with that account. Then that account will be able to watch the show when it happens. |

I think the point of having this is to get it as soon as possible and also to support Ayu. There's always going to be a 'free' alternative but it's nice that overseas fans get to experience 'live' Ayu alongside the Japanese fans even if there's a bit of a fee involved.

A little on the technical side, how's everyone gonna watch it? I mean, are you guys just watching it on your computer? I have MacBook Pro, and I assume that Ustream works on MBP, but I was wondering how it can be played on my TV screen so it is even more enjoyable. :D Does anyone know? Thanks!

@ayuuk: Oh, I can connect my laptop with tv screen via the vga connector cable. This should also work with a hdmi cable as long as your tv supports one of those cable connections.

I will TRY if I get a ticket(still haven't asked my father if I can use his VISA and he's pretty paranoid about buying anything on the internet) but whenever I try to record something on my computer I seem to have trouble with the sound :/ I might end up just pointing my camera on it if nothing else works xD It would be a crystal clear 1080i 45mbit/s stream of a low-resolution internet broadcast LOL |

I don't think you will need to try recording it since the concert is being aired live two days later in high definition but I guess it'd be nice for anyone who needs to see it.
Good luck with getting to view it, everyone! Also about watching it on TV... it's really fun to watch it while chatting so I suggest being in the chat at the same time if you can manage it. |

It's not too late. The first night happens two days before and we have several users going to that show so we will definitely have the setlist before the live show on New Year's Eve. You can also buy tickets while the show is happening but you will miss whatever you didn't see.

I just bought my ticket. I am really excited. I hope that I will not be disappointed and hope that we will get some surprise, e.g. return of the missing songs of yesterday or maybe some replacement. This will be the first time I will be able to see her live. For Power of Music, unfortunately, it was during my working time, but today I am in vacation ^^

I don't think that one was a letdown... you never know how people will react to it after they actually see it so it really depends on the kind of Ayu concert you like.

Thanks to truehappiness I can watch the concert now! So excited!!! :) I'll probably enjoy it a lot even though many people found it disappointing, hell it's the first time I can see my idol without a several hour time gap and what I read about the concert didn't sound too bad :)
My cam is already set up to record at least parts of the show haha It'll have me sneezing inbetween since I got a cold but hey, rewatching it before someone uploads the whole thing :D |
