It's not really special imo, but it's only a preview, so..

I bet the arrangement will become "bigger" as the song goes on, it sounds too simple there. Her lower notes sounded beautiful though. I'm curious :)

The melody is kinda meh, and her english...god she should never sing in english.

I like it! It gives me the vibe of B'z's song "Homebound"! (*^^*) But it has the potential to sound grand like Calling by B'z or beloved. :D But that's just my observation! lol

Well, I didn't understand her "I don't know" part, but that's more because of the way she emphasies the words in her singing style, not because of her pronunciation. Similar to the way she does sing in Love song with her Japanese.
But it also sounds a bit fishy with first listening, probably her accent, I guess.
Don't have problems with her English here though.

So far I like this song at the same level as beloved (okay song). It's not bad..

Her voice at times...ouch. End of the World called, it wants those bad held-out notes back. I really like the way she sings the English parts though. Pretty.

AHS, the only place where people mistake some of Ayumi's best vocals for some of her worst. xD

Anyways, not much to say since we got very little of the melody, it has potential but almost every ballad melody has in a 30 second snippet. Her vocals however sound VERY clear and controlled, a beautiful timbre she did not possess before(her voice used to have little timbre, almost directly starting the decay phase of a note, while now she has a long and beautiful timbre), a continuation of FIVE and happening here, if all of her next album features vocals this controlled it WILL be the album with her best vocals.

How Beautiful You Are reminds me of Curtain Call :shrug

I think this song's probably a grower for most. A lot of Ayu's simpler ballads tend to become major classics after people get over their initial criticism (Curtain call and a few others aside).

did not get me really excited. but it reminded me of Curtain Call. you know that kinda quiet songs.

I will hv to wait for a full version before i can make any opinions! :(
