^^It was cancelled because of the whole Earthquake disaster. So she scrapped the idea, only to renew it for this upcoming 2012 tour.
As for the new album and touring for that, we don't know anything yet. If she does release an album soon, I don't see why she can't just do a mix of songs including stuff from the new album. |
I would love to see a spring and fall arena tour... one for the hotel love songs and one for what every this album is for...

SCawaii has posted some blog entries about Ayu and her 30th appearance on SCawaii and they are doing some sort of campaign where people try to take photos that are like Ayu's?

so, no TV performances so far? This is so depressing...it's like they WANT ayu's sales to suck. If the pulled out the big guns, who knows how many this album would sell.

As much as I want to see more promotion, I still bought the album regardless. Her promotion schedule doesn't really affect if I'm going to buy something of hers. For me, it's "when is it coming out?" and "where are the preorder links?"

Actually, her time when she did many TV performances for an album is over since NEXT LEVEL. Do you remember how many performances on television she had for GUILTY? At least 5 performances for "Together When...", same for "talkin' 2 myself", then she performed "fated" and 1 or 2 times "glitter", it was a massive promotion.
With NEXT LEVEL everything changed TV appearance wise :/ Edit: "Rock'n'Roll Circus" had many TV appearances again, I am not sure if this should make me happy though xD |

apparently, we can request artists + songs we want to appear in Music Station Spring SP (6/4), here.
TBH, I'm not sure about this too, for request or just random POLL about spring songs. It never hurt to try, right? Quote:

Artist like ayu or namie doesn't appear on tv nowadays, maybe because with or without promo, their sales aren't really affected. Or maybe because ayu is really busy and she can't attend tv shows. Or maybe because tv shows want only idols, because they are really popular.

It was speculated AFTER that performance because she was originally scheduled to perform beloved at the time but she could not make the flight home from New York after making the calendar there and the performance was canceled.
I don't think anyone knows for sure since she hasn't really made anything since then until Party Queen. If we don't see her on TV for this album, it's likely because she's too busy at the moment. |
The next MSTA episode is 4/6 and Ayu won't be appearing. Hopefully she'll do CDTV, Music Japan, and maybe Heyx3?

Wasn't she also supposedly blacklisted from MSTA in 2008 when she missed the Christmas special due to an accident?

There was one show that she did not appear on at all after doing it once, and it was Utaban. I believe she felt insulted by the hosts.
She's good friends with the guys on HEY!x3 so I don't think she doesn't want to appear there anymore... she just hasn't lately. Her last appearance there was Microphone in 2010 so it hasn't exactly been that long. I wonder why it wasn't scheduled when she was doing Love song promo though. |

NaNaNa is the one inside a club in London... she appeared dancing along with Timmy. There was a lot of strange people that was standing without moving or something like that... I also could see some guys jumping over a wall or something like that. Then Ayu, followed by Timmy and a lot of people in a row, was running on the street like making footing, and then they started to dance at the street as well.. hahah
