I am posting all relevant information in here! Hopefully it helps. If anything needs to be fixed or added, please post it here and I will add it ASAP! I had to make this twice due to deleting it on accident, lol.

**Originally the title of the album was reported as "Party queen" by Kome, but Ayu corrected Kome and said it was "Party Queen". It looks like he sent out the notice before Ayu made the correction.

That's usually how things go. I think that's why they're releasing it as a digital single so people can get a taste of it before buying the album.

Yeah. There doesn't seem to be a PC option yet though there should be since Happening Here had one.

It doesn't look like Happening Here's announcement linked to iTunes, so perhaps there will be an iTunes release after all, just not mentioned on the main site. We'll see next week, I suppose!

When I log in to order from cdjapan very early, like an hour after the items were release, they had not yet list the 2 limited box set, so I didn't realize and just order the cd+3dvd, thinking that since this has the maximum contents, it should be the limited edition...

Now I came home to find out that I ordered the wrong item!!!!

Damm CDJ! Why did they not list all the items at once! I feel so angry now, I mean I log in really early but fail to get my box set!!!

We don't really know the circumstances behind that though...

I am probably going to either get the CD+3DVD and PoM on the side or the CD+3DVD+Blu-ray. Not sure though since the box's goods have not been revealed yet and the box sold out at CDJ while I was preordering. I usually just get the set that has everything since I'm going to get it anyway but if they don't get any more of the boxes in at CDJ, I'll probably just order them separately.

Me and my friend were chuckling over 'taskebab' this morning.

I'm looking forward to the album, too bad I can only afford that (maybe only album+DVD at a push). I wish the concerts were separate. :(

Bluray version. Already called it months ago.

For only 1000yen more than the DVD version isn't a bad deal at all. I really do not like most of those titles, only a few actually sound like Ayu titles. Well, it's the music that counts. Masashi Muto directed PV's? Hell yes.

May go for the Special Limited Box set if it isn't sold out by the time I'm able to preorder it.

Anyone thinking that there will be a second round of limited boxes??? Just like with the Next Level USB Sticks? I really wanted to buy that one as an early birthday present, but I kind of waited to long (had to ask my mum, if she would buy it for me). :,-(

Not sure about other retailers but I know CDJapan always understocks on the LE's. They re-stocked Love songs at least 4 times before the release and then there's always people who cancel their orders so I'd just wait it out.

For now, there is no PV for Party queen. But the release is in a little less than two months and things can change. I wouldn't say it's certain or anything but it would be nice.

I think it's more because of HOTEL Love songs being the arena tour this time around as well. Sucks that we don't get a Blu-ray but eh, lol.

i doubt its his fault. there's another interlude (i forget which), but it sounds exactly the same as a song by Hande Yener. i also heard this exact same tune in another song once.

i kind of suspect there is some place where composers pay for samples or something to work into their songs. i have no idea how all that kind of stuff works, but i don't think anyone is copying off anyone else.

no worries bb, it's just some leftover mini-drama from the secret era~ :3 but now that i think about it, he has some pretty interludes on other albums. pity he just phoned in that one.

^whatever the reason is, it's still crappy for everyone involved lol i'm pretty sure there IS a source of music where people can get samples and use it in their own work. i've definitely heard repeated samples in video game soundtracks, for example. and if i weren't so lazy i'd just go look up to see if those hoobastank blokes compose their own music -- but that requires me to give a damn about them. alas.

my only problem with tasuku is that he has to work his name into like EVERY SINGLE INTERLUDE. and clearly, they just get crazier and crazier sounding titles.

Well, people are also iffy about tasuku because tasking also sounded like it was lifted from a Granado Espada BGM BUT the thought being that is that it's likely that there's a sample bank that they both used. I wonder what tasuku would say if we asked him about it since he's available via Twitter.



It makes it obvious which track is the interlude though, which is nice. I wonder how the tradition started way back when, lol.

I am really excited for this release, it sounds like a lot of catchy and dancey tracks (even though - of course - you can never know with ayu).

Yeah, his arrangements are so amazing but he rarely ever composes for Ayu. I wonder if it's just because he's more comfortable arranging unlike Yuta. (His only song composition for Ayu is fairyland)

I wonder if fairyland originally started as a standard tasuku interlude and was changed into a full song, much like until that Day...

yep, released on feb 8, but so far only mobile download sites have been confirmed.

The how beautiful you are thing was in an information tidal wave from the main site, lol. They added like 4-5 new news stories so it may have gotten lost in the amazingness.

Just saying, if people are planning to buy from yesasia, order NOW. They'll most likely jack up the prices later.

Granado Espada started in mid-2005 in Korea, a few months before (miss)understood.

i'm so happy the new album is officially confirmed! although i didn't expect "Party Queen" to be the title, lol. but i don't mind. :P the tracklist is pretty cool, and 4 new PVs is great, too. i can't wait for covers. :D

Was there a hint somewhere that two of the PVs were connected from an extra? I remember reading it but I'm not entirely sure. The apartment PV was shot first, then the factory one with scientists, then the nightclub with crazy makeup.

One of the tracks is a rock track it seems, judging from that one Japanese fan who heard some of it from a UK guy who the filming was near... so probably Shake It or NaNaNa? But then again Return Road sounds like it could be a rockish track... aghhh!

You guys made me laugh a lot about these kebab things in the previous thread :D and the next LOVE, lol... this one especially made me believe at first that the tracklist is fake :)

and, by the way, I don't know why, my first impression was that Letter and call could be connected somehow, just judging by the titles... either melodically like Sunrise/Sunset or logically (like Virgin Road and Return Road could be, which I agree to)... but well, maybe I got this impression just because they are next to each other in this list. Who knows, maybe call is just an interlude, as some suggest.

The CDL counts as part of the album. It is not going to be sold separately from Party Queen for the time being.

I do of course hope for an awesome album, but really, aren't she just trying waaaay too much to be like young musicians? Adding hearts to her songstitles, having titles like "Party queen", "NaNaNa" and "Skake it"? And "Eyes, Smoke, Magic"? Hello, teenage dance and pathetic love songs :(

Probably the worst Ayu's album title ever...

Ayu in her wide carreer got maybe 3 inspiring/creative titles (let's take a look what I really like... alterna, kiss o' kill, and maybe BRILLANTE and Memorial address...) She always do that, lol - when I am looking at some, they are ridicolous, but songs are amazing (ex: STEP you, MW) and most of them are really simple. Eyes, Smoke, Magic is imho her most creative title since alterna.... But that's Ayu, her titles was always very simple or too combinated.

I like em because they don't sound like "sappy ballads&mediums" all over <3

Seriously, she's had titles like "teddy bear" and "FRIEND". Her titles have never really been all that amazing. Though the symbol in Shake it is kind of odd, everything else seems relatively Ayu-ish.

We can't deny that these titles suck, and most likely, the most sucky ones are gonna be the best songs. That's the way it works with Ayu.

You have to admit, Party Queen is arguably her least meaningful album title yet. Like someone else said, there's no deeper meaning there. What you see is what you get. :shrug

But I think people are putting way to much into titles and names.. We haven't even heard any of the tracks (but Party queen and how beautiful..) Man people, listen to it before you judge it.

Besides we could be thinking this a happy up-beat kind of album... this could totally go in the reverse and actually find out that she doesn;t like the "party queen" image and found out how sad and lonely she actually is.

Who's been judging though? The majority just lol'ed.

Now that we have news, I don't think I can be patient anymore for the release day.
