Now if you're just joining us, recently miwa released her 8th single, "Kataomoi" (片想い; "unrequited love"; the heart-shaped balloons can say that) on February 1st; it ended up #7 on the Oricon rankings, selling 15,634 copies.

#15 music overall and #8 Jpop on amazon Japan. Just 2 days after announcement of the preorder. Yet guitarissimo limited need to be #1 on many sales chart, just a week before the release date, lol. I hope she's doing well this time!! There's no way to defeat SKE48 on chart, but if there's miracle, there'll be! |

So, here's my thought on "guitarium" : I've been reading lots of sources regarding this title, not sure if miwa pointed it out too on her latest radio show. guitarium based on guitarhythm, in Japanese it's called "guitarizumu" and why she changed it to guitarium, it's because simplicity thing, or easier-to-remember, cute name, and such, we never know what's inside (this little) girl's mind. On the other note, guitarhythm basically means rhythm guitar, it can makes a lot of harmony on musical genre, such as pop, rock, jazz, and so on. As a result, we got a song like 441, FRiDAY-MA-MAGiC, Kataomoi, and even Ikutsu ni Natte mo, all of them has different sound and style, so we can expect multiple and variety of genre in this album. I don't understand musical terms, so I just wrote what I understand, btw. Anyway, that title may sounds creative in many way, but still, as for me it's a lame name. |

Not really disappointing for me, 7 new tracks are quite many, plus remix even though it seems like we got a weird flow for the album. (Futari no Saturday to Kataomoi?)
Also, most of the titles seems very interesting, againxagain, jexxxa, take@chance, lol, what a normal university student. What the hell is endress version btw? Can't wait for the covers and DVD content! EDITED: HTMSD can rejoice, the whole info about that tracklist is removed everywhere, let's see how it will be changed. |

Just checked on her official website that she has new tie-in with COTTON USA (and new website layout). You can hear preview of the song that will be included in the album, "guitarium". Seems like that the song is Cotton no Kisetsu, although no official confirmation.

I like this album more than her first, maybe because its more 'gentle'...I dont know how to word that out. There's a lot of tracks that had 'it' from the first listen. lyrics and vocals are beautiful. My favs: jexxxa, mata ne, chasing hearts, merry go round and ofcourse single kataomoi that made me love her this way. on first album I couldnt stand change, second album doesnt have songs I hate.

Kind of disappointing that miwa missed out a chance on #1. But because the fact that SDN48 is part of the AKS family, we had that thought: the danger of "first day wins the week" - that first-day sales of SDN48 (40,000 compared to miwa's 19,000) certainly made the difference between #1 and #2. But I still do want to give credit to SDN48 on their only album...we shouldn't be sad about it. The thing is this: SDN48 is going to disband at the end of this month (which is kind of sad for the SDN48 fans), but miwa still has a future to look forward to! Hopefully she can get #1 on her next album! (If we can...but of course there's uncertainties - still remember when HTMSD said that when miwa and SDN48 were releasing an album on the same day, he had a thought that miwa's #1 chances were little if not impossible, and unfortunately SDN48 got it... But especially the fact that March is also competitive that it's hard (if not impossible) for miwa to land a #1 weekly (though #1 daily is good enough), and it can also be unexpected, such as Jin Akanishi the week before that (but it was stolen by ikimono-gakari, and we're concerned if she would even steal miwa's #2!)... There's Ayu's album next week, then Kis-My-Ft2 debut album, which certainly going to surpass sales of not only miwa but also SDN48...) |

I'm glad she isn't dropping. And finally i can hear this album !! My favourites songs are: Ikutsu ni Nattemo (so catchy and funny), again×again (really good) and Merry Go Round (wow, miwa + autotune). Chasing hearts and Clair de Lune are growing on me a lot. I'm glad they include them on the album. |

Just get over it, as long as she sold more than previous album, it's enough for me. Though it's kinda sad somehow. So it's means that she's gaining some new fans, looking forward to the next release in June. |

This is the 'four-on-the-floor' dance track from her, at first I thought the song will be something like Clair de Lune, but well, this is kinda surprising, totally different from any songs from her.
The song actually isn't bad, maybe because this is a radio rip, those strings composition (which give a nice feeling to the song) sounds unclear, I hope it will be better in clearer version. Seems like she's a bit moving away from her usual style, I cannot imagine she plays guitar for this song. |
