New album 'Party Queen' out 03/21 information thread [V]
I am posting all relevant information in here! Hopefully it helps. If anything needs to be fixed or added, please post it here and I will add it ASAP! I had to make this twice due to deleting it on accident, lol.
**Originally the title of the album was reported as "Party queen" by Kome, but Ayu corrected Kome and said it was "Party Queen". It looks like he sent out the notice before Ayu made the correction. ****COUNTDOWN LIVE 2011-2012 A ~HOTEL Love songs~ is now only one DVD on the album, instead of a CD+3DVD, it is now a CD+2DVD Quote:

avex find the way how to show preview to only TA =)
10th March somewhere in Tokyo will be "TA Limited PREMIUM PREVIEW ~Party Queen~" ※Ayu herself will not attend。 Some TA members will have a chanse to hear the preview of the songs and music videos 「Shake It(ハート)」、「NaNaNa」、「Return Road」、「how beautiful you are」 |
Oh, I heard from a friend that the leak for Party Queen will be somewhere around March 19th, but it could be earlier. Kind of late... maybe avex China dying really did affect whether or not we get leaks early from the usual sources?
And about this preview... I wonder if it's those four because those four PVs are the only ones that are done so far? The TA Mail posted by Aderianu: Quote:

I think they will definitely reveal the new PVs before then. I can't imagine them waiting until afterwards to reveal the titles and covers.

It sounds to me like they're just going to get a 'leak' before everyone else. Information being held until then would be INSANE. Imagine if she waited until the week before to release covers, haha.

Shibuya wasn't prepared for the amount of people that showed up and then they didn't move after she came. Then they all followed her to Tower Records, which is actually pretty far from 109, and the roads/sidewalks were extremely crowded and stuff. Well... im glad she stood up to them... SHe can go anywhere she wants... lol As for the limited TA thing.. cool.. wish I was in japan! Too bad its not like the concert she held years ago.. that would of been epic! |

To me covers have gone to a ...... path since Rule/Sparkle, with perhaps You were.../BALLAD being an exception (it was all right, compared to others, LOL)

If we get close up covers again, then at least I hope it's something like STEP you/is this LOVE? cover. But I don't want close up covers this time...

We'll probably get a set-up like the BLUE BIRD cover where they had varying distances and poses for all three versions. The CD only will likely be the best cover, haha.

^^because it's the version I think people are least likely to buy (when you can get a DVD with your album for only a little bit more, I feel like most would buy that)...so of course Avex would make that the most appealing one...making people (especially collectors) buy more versions.

I don't know what people are sniffing but CD+DVD had been the best for the majority of releases. (miss)understood, MY STORY (alternate covers), GUILTY, most of the singles that are CD+DVD format. Love songs photobook version was the best, NEXT LEVEL USB was the best. Usually it's the most expensive is the best one I feel.

I guess the "CD only" rule normally applies to singles with a few exceptions. Singles: CD only > CD+DVD Albums: (Limited) > CD+DVD > CD only Since we have three album editions this time with no limited options, I don't really know how they'll measure up to one another. It's CD+DVD/CD+2DVD/CD only so it could go either way! If there is a close up or a 1/4 body shot, the CD only is usually the most panned out-shot in her albums which people tend to like, I think. |
^RnRC CD only is "not good," which is why I didn't buy it. Hahaha guess covers still matter. :P

i think its all a matter of opionion... but i tend to think that when it comes to the singles CD only is better...
the albums are a different story... they can be either a hit or miss! ( its a 50/50 chance for me anyways) |

I think it's quite sad that Ayu won't attend to the Party queen event in Tokyo. It's a TeamAyu event and the "most important person" of the whole event won't be there :/
I remember that 30 minutes "special ayu trance documentary", still have this file on my HDD, where DJs in Japan, probably Tokyo, played her trance remixes on a concert and then, during the "M"-remix, she appeared on stage and sang a few words to the remix. |

I'm kinda depressed after seeing that video. It's like, all of my dreams rolled into one huge event (rave, trance, AYUtrance, JAPAN, AYU LIVE). How lucky they all are to have experienced that! I was 11 years old then...
