NaNaNa PV is a huge mess and Timmy looks awkward in every single scene. ewww…. I also hate ayu's fish mouth.

i still have hopes for Return Road but Shake It is shaping up to be another mess i guess.

I don't know who this Timmy guy is or why he's in Ayu's new PVs, but NaNaNa is one of the worst PVs I've ever seen. The song isn't very good either. I'm disappointed and I think Ayu has really lost her way.

just watched the NaNaNa PV via emi's fb.... WTF was that mess? That wasn't even music. It was just noise. Ayu, you can do better, much better, like that was the worst and you can only go up from here better.

The songs themselves are not really related, but this PV is like... Love song/Virgin Road-y.

I feel very disappointed after watching NaNaNa as well. Simply can't believe this is one of Ayu's PVs.

The PV looks really cool, but to me, there are too much sounds other than the music...
e.g. when the tank arrives, the music becomes barely hearable.

th already ruined the ending for those who haven't seen it yet. :P
Anyhow. RR is a nice PV, but I was expecting more. And yes, the tank noise pretty much drowns out the music. I hope that is fixed in the DVD version.

technically music video is perfect (montage, fading, dramatic) and visually (symbolic, dark, place, ayu look)
but I feel kinda not satisfacted :P it's like I watch 1,5 short ver of this PV.

and it's a totally oposite ayu from VR, Light=Dark hair, Dark=Light dress. And the design of the dress is almost identical. Even her make-up lol.

Don't know if anyone is like me. Feel very disappointed after watching NaNaNa PV in full.

And I liked BRILLANTE, but I find Timmy so distracting in NaNaNa PV. So distracting to the extent that I really wish he could just stay in BRILLANTE and not appear anymore. :( :( :(

yes it reminded me as well. but that time the santa might be... Nagase?

My thoughts:

The PV had tons of potential, but I thought it fell short. I think my main problem was the performance bit in the middle. There was all this build up in the beginning, with the factory, and the people marching, and the tank rolling up and Ayu appearing in a black wedding gown - and I was intrigued, because what was Ayu in a black wedding dress doing in a tank in a factory? - and then she...sets up with her band and sings? Really? The whole rebelling by singing thing has been done to death, and did not serve the story at the beginning or the end of the PV.
The band playing was completely wrong for this song; musically, the drums, guitar, and bass seem secondary to the organ and strings, and it was really odd to see a guy playing the drums during the verses, when there were no drums actually playing, or to see a band member playing the guitar (complete with annoying electricity sound effects) when the only instrument playing in the song was an organ. Also, those weird dance/arm movements she did during the instrumental did not work at all.

I really liked the beginning and end, but the middle took it from what could have been an amazing PV to a mediocre one :( So, it seems like this album is shaping up to be as good musically as (m)u, but not as good PV-wise

Love how Return Road is the polar opposite of Virgin Road ... at least in terms of lyrics, clothing, etc. sigh
