I actually like this song and her vocal fits very well with the song

This song is timeless. :) I remember loving this performance, but never really cared to look up the original.

Then after searching for it, the original brought tears to my eyes, especially in the various live performances of it floating around YT. Most notably, this one:



This song is currently being used in a commercial for JAL (I believe) and I love being able to hear it when it's on TV haha.

The original is one of the few songs to make me cry. Ayu's version is amazing, but damn that live, that's powerful.

this is one of my most favorite japanese songs, though I like ayu's version much more. I absolutely love this performance. one of her best.

It's a very nice song!! I remember listening to Ayu's version once years ago. First time I'm listening to the original now but I still love Ayu's. I'm still more comfortable with Ayu's voice than others. haha.

Her latest concert is amazing, and her energy and presence gives a lot of 20 years old singers a run for their money, even if Yuming is almost 60^^

I hope Ayu ages somewhat like her... both as a person, an artist and a performer!

I really love that song... both.. the original and from Ayu.
The performance from Matsutoya Yumi ist really beautiful.. I like the dragon.
But because I like Ayu's voice more.. I like her cover a little bit more.

Probably my favorite Music Station performance. Her voice was in this area the strongest.

This is one of my favorite performances from her in her entire career. She went and sang the song with feeling. She didn't have to force you to see the feeling of the song with antics and dancers. Just a beautiful performance.

Bring this back Ayu!

Ayu had introduced me to the original singer of this great song,Yuming! ^^

remember the first time i saw Ayu sang this,the feeling was so nostalgic and how much i love her voice so soft and the emotion we can feel it. Ayu looked as tender as the sakura from her look and really get into the song <3

as for Yuming's performance,yes! it IS very beautiful ,loved the lighting that brought the atmosphere of this song and the falling sakura petals <3

i prefer Ayu's voice but both are still great :)
