I know the last 2 days for a-nation are also concidentally the last 2 concert dates for her ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2012 A ~HOTEL Love songs~ but if so , will this be the 1st time she's not participating in a-nation ? o_o

Uh, Ayu is not going to be at music week probably. music week is for smaller acts (though some may not be considered as such like AKB48 and so on, but generally... it looks like smaller acts were announced first) and Ayu has her tour during that time period.

a-nation is being split up into two segments this year. One is a festival that will last 10 days and will have music, food, booths, etc and the other segment is the usual stadium tour in two cities.



She will be at the Stadium fes(tival) if she performs at a-nation where they will have the usual stadium performances.

This thread is rather misleading. Perhaps the thread title should be changed to reflect that she won't be at music week and will instead probably be at the Stadium live?

However, it would be pretty awesome to see Ayu performing on a stage during this festival week... she usually doesn't do performances like this unless they're secret lives so hopefully she appears at the ASIA progress F stage.

I don't think anyone mentioned this, but there are a few stages for the music week that Ayu is likely to not be a part of.

BAND NATION <-- bands... so Ayu will probably not be a part of this one.
ANISON GENERATION <-- for anime/video game singers, Ayu has a few but not enough to call her an anison singer
Asia Progress M <-- for male Asian artists. Ayu is not male.
Asia Progress F <-- the likeliest place for Ayu to appear if she does since this is for female Asian artists
IDOL NATION <-- no.
ROCK NATION <-- as pop rocky as Ayu is, she is not likely to perform here with VAMPS and the like.

Yeah I'm not too worried. Ayu have very often been officially announced late to a-nation.

Sometimes she is the last person to be announced and there were years where she only did a couple of dates.

Oh well, maybe she's busy with the tour and doens't want to have more performances to do

Well, this is interesting - but first: it's too early to tell, and second: new ten-day festival in a prelude to the stadium tour (which we call the a-nation that we had over the past ten years)?

Now that's quite interesting - but it kind of makes sense for Ayu NOT to be part of the new "musicweek" portion...

But we'll just have to wait and see...

I was scared for a minute there. No Ayu? I don't think I'd even bother watching...

She may get added later but she's a biiiig name. She might also be busy when the festival happens. Looking at her schedule, she has LIVE UNION 2012 at the time.

She does have a summer tour and there's Animelo Summer Live as well(but May'n usually attends that too)...well, I'm too lazy to look up dates so just hoping for her to appear. :innocent

After last year's incident at a-nation, its no surprise if ayu does not perform at a-nation 12. I'm sure a-nation will continue to be popular in the new format. (^_^)

Read the first few posts. She's very likely to perform, these information are NOT for the actual a-nation stadium concerts, which continue to exist, but for which artists won't be announced until June.

Didn't this happen last year as well? Speculations regarding Ayu's presence at A-nation. Then we found out all artists hadn't been announced yet? I seem to vaguely recall something like that.

Generally, this happens every year.

They announce the lesser artists first with a few big names and then they do the announcements in 'parts' as the weeks go by, announcing the bigger artists in each part.

The thread title concerned me, but now I'm a bit more relieved.

Hahaha I did read the first few posts... I'm saying it's not a bad thing if ayu does not appear in this year's concerts. If she does perform at a-nation stadium concerts, hopefully she will perform a slightly modified performance for the current arena tour. That will be a nice preview for all of us! :lech

Usually it's just the first performance that's somewhat ripped from the arena tour. The rest is exclusive to a-nation.

AKA: The rest is just her singing and dancers dancing :P
