Ayu and Koda 'Kuu' Kumi have same planning, that's collecting their summer songs for best summer songs album collection from their fans

if this is step done to determine appearance for a-nation 2012, then this's very impossible
because Kumi is also being pregnant, she is impossible to live perform for a-nation 2012

may Ayu and Kuu will make a compilation album of songs the summer with other Avex's artists
(Namie Amuro, Every Little Things, hitomi, Ai Otsuka, and more artists, may with Big Bang & TVXQ too)

I have a feeling that Greatful Days might be the winner... it seems Ayu's Japanese fans love that song.

I don't have a TA account, but my favorite song out of that list is Boys & Girls. But I feel like she's always performing that song..

Personally, mine is blossom. I like glitter and fairyland is really beautiful and the most fun to sing. But, blossom is very different from the rest - it is more rockish with guitars and such. I love it - has a similar feeling to the songs on A BALLADS.

Oh, I was thinking they were picking the favorite summer songs so that ayu would get inspired to do a new one in the likes of it...if it were that, I'd say

I know I'm picking July 1st as the happy song, as it's imo her best summer song to date (it's perfect) but as for sad songs, I have so many faves... HANABI, HANABI ~episode II~, fated, end roll (though this isn't really a "summer" song, it was just release din the summer haha), theme of a-nation '03... decisions decisions!

btw, if this does end up being a best album, it'd be the perfect time to release It was "island mix" in cd format. :D I love the fan-made version... haha

that's really hard, I guess I'd go with HANABI ~episode II~ and...I have no idea. I love almost all of those songs to death, with the exception of Greatful days which I don't mind, but am far from being crazy about it.

I'm surprised more people aren't choosing "HANABI" (NOT ~EII~) as the sad song. That is like the most heartbreaking Summer song she has.

On another note, I see there is a lot of emphasis on the whole idea of the 'summer' single. Ayu's summer is my winter (damn living in the southern hemisphere), so the summer singles just make me melancholy and yearn for the sun. >.<

This. I never understand fans wanting a best if album full of songs they already own why not just make a compilation album with all your favortite tracks and burn it to a disk your self. I only understand best of albums if Ayu was to re-record all the tracks with new and special arrangements.....

If there is to be another BEST album, I really hope it's like A BALLADS and has remixed versions of songs.
But not severely remixed like Ayu-mi-x, remixes that Ayu can actually perform like A song for xx '030213 Session #2 Take', or want to perform live.
For example, if we did end up recieving A SUMMER, I would be praying for remixes as there has been such a lack of song remixes from 2003 to now. :/

I agree with everyone who doesn't want another A BEST on the basis of just re-releasing original mixes. I mean, it's okay to have a few, but to expect fans to buy what they already might have, especially recent album songs and singles that are great quality sound wise, is a bit too much.

Then I think that we might get covers with Ayu sporting hot hair.
= Thus, I don't care what we get, single, A BEST, new album. XD

Lol thanks, I really wish Ayu would do an A BEST album that was re-recorded with special arrangements, or even if she did that with her 10th Anniversary I rather that than that Best of album singles album....felt like such a waste to me...I mean I guess it brought in money for Avex and people bought it up, but other than that, it seemed like a waste.

She'd have to announce it soon. :/

Well... Those albums tend to sell well among casual listeners that like her singles but don't care enough to buy her albums with unknown tracks...

But people isn't realizing this works better when people actually CARE about the artist... And it's not like people care enough about Ayu for her compilations have stellar sales...

Oh geez this is a tough choice... There are quite a few great "summer" esque songs.. As of now.. oHhh.. I don`t know.. I`m leaning towards Sunrise~LOVE is ALL~ and HANABI~episode II~ ..

Yea, I mean who's gonna buy the -BEST OF- album of someone they don't care about, or full of songs that only hardcore fans like. Also after like 1-2 best of albums, the novelty starts to wear off. Soon her entire discography is just going to be best of. Not that Ayu doesn't have great songs, but there's no point in best of's if all the songs are the best.

I rather just hope for remix/acoustic albums with more interesting songs chosen.

A new best of doesn't guarantee gigantic sales now days ^^ it prolly wouldn't sell more than 200-250k at this point. So yeah I want new material, the best of albums don't interest me, I don't care about the sales as she's been going downhill since 2002...if you're not used to it by now you obviously never will be.

To be honest I don't even think she could pull of a BEST album yet. A COMPLETE ~ALL SINGLES~ is still available for everyone else and it pretty much got every single single (sorry I had to do that): poker face - Mirrorcle World. If she released another BEST album the only new stuff would be 6 songs or so. So I pass guys, I'd rather have her deliver the new Tales of Xillia song and the (two?) other song(s).

Or she could pull a namie amuro and release an album with the latest 9 singles and add 4 new songs with it? :laugh

humm I don't think ! A COMPLETE ~ALL SINGLES~ is different than A BEST, I think if she released a new A BEST it will be in continuation with A BEST 2 so to Bold&Delicius/Pride until ... ?
