- First single out on August 12th, titled "Applause". Music Video out on Aug 19th.

- MTV VMA 2013 Performance of "Applause" on Aug 25th.

- Pre-order album / App starting September 1st.

- SwineFest in UK on Sept 1st. (iTunes Festival): Performing 6 ARTPOP Songs.

- artRAVE party on November 10th, to promote album release.

- New album and the App will be out on November 11th.

^ ARTPOP huh? Sounds kind of random, but we'll see. I knew her releasing the new album within the year was too good to be true. Still I will eagerly keep my eyes & ears out for this one :).

I'm pretty excited for ARTPOP :) Although I'm still really happy with Born This Way haha it took a while to grow on me but I absolutely love it. I also love all the commercials/teasers she did for the Fame perfume, and I'm waiting patiently now for a full music video of Scheibe ;_;

I would really love part 2 as well. That album was pretty near flawless. Perfect depth for pop music, and just really good compositions.

That's what I want for her. I don't want everything she tried to do with Born This Way. I didn't think it worked.

Anyway, I'm happy that there will be more color lol

She really needs a good album that people will like this year.

It's an interesting title AND I hope the music can make me into a fan again.
When I think of Artpop, I think of björk and hikki lol

ARTPOP era will be amazing, to say at least. According all the photos I've already seen on littlemonsters.com, it will be art. I can't wait~ :heart

I also hope that Princess Die will be on the album because I love that song so much. I have no idea what the original mix sounds like because Gaga has only sung the acoustic piano version on BTW Ball so far but she did acoustic version of Yoü And I in her live performances and album version was completely different from the live version so we'll never know. :3

The title reminds me of Andy Warhol.

She has a tour date here in February, gonna try my best to snag tickets ;)

I'm really looking forward to ARTPOP! I'm so used to Japanese artists that release new albums every year that it always seems like it takes forever for a new Gaga album to be released.

I like the title ARTPOP and I'm glad she said that both the cover and music will be colorful! Like I really like 'Born This Way', I think its a pretty good album, but I just don't find it as 'fun' to listen to as 'The Fame' and 'The Fame Monster'

I'm hoping for the best when it comes to ARTPOP! :)

I'm gonna keep my expectations for this album very low after the cluster**** that was Born This Way.

i loved Born This Way, but i felt like the confusion over the music videos, single choices, and her message concerning the album didn't really translate over to the mainstream. but hopefully her new album can because i think she's a really good pop artist. i'm looking forward to it. :)

Her Philly concert tickets sold out so quickly~! So she added another Philly show, and I got an email for presale tickets this Friday Morning.

Wondering if I should buy them, and if so, which package. I don't want really cheap seats, and I don't want the most expensive ones either. Hm...

There is a song called G.U.Y. (Girl Under You) in ARTPOP. It's confirmed by her in a recent interview.

As the old saying goes "be careful what you wish for"; not only did all the Alejandros (Robertos and Fernandos) stop calling her name, they ceased buying her outrageously priced concert tickets as well!

The ticket sales for Latin America don't look that bad.
But I have to admit that a few of the shows are just SAD. I mean, 45%? Them Chileans and Peruvians nocurr about her no more. I also nocurr no more (Ayu replaced her) but I hope that ARTPOP won't be as... 'bad' as BTW.

What will I do. My world is shattered.

I wonder what style she will go with for the next album. BTW definitely had some hits and misses. I want her to take the best of BTW (BTW, EoG, Judas, Hair, Fashion of his Love, and maybe Government Hooker) and combine that style with the best of the Fame Monster (Teeth, Alejandro, Dance in the Dark, Telephone, Monster). I think the product would be really awesome.

I’m not a hater, I’m a Little Madonnster. I like both Madonna and Gaga, but Madonna will forever be the Queen of Pop and Gaga will forever be the court jester. True facts.

It would be interesting to see them onstage together, and not in a comedic light like when they did that SNL skit. Gaga is definitely the better singer, but Madonna is a way better dancer and has more stage presence in my opinion. Madonna is also really beautiful. Gaga's cute in an average sort of way I guess lol.

A more complete artist: plays piano, plays guitar (still learning), writes her lyrics, has an amazing voice (for pop standards), has crazy choreographies, has an amazing creativity...
And sorry, but Madonna is NOT beautiful, neither is Gaga

Madonna plays keyboard and drums, although she doesn't really utilize those skills anymore. She plays guitar too (albeit badly lol). Madonna writes and produces like Gaga too. Madonna is an AMAZING dancer. And Madonna always comes up with spectacular visuals. Her work is just so finessed and polished.

Madonna is seriously BEAUTIFUL though, buddy. And Gaga isn't beautiful, but she is good-looking.

Anywho, let's agree to disagree.

I need ARTPOP news soon. And please no Volume 1 and 2 of ARTPOP, just give me one good album with good writing and no filler.

I hope she isnt as pretentious with ARTPOP as she was with Born This Way. Calling an album ARTPOP is super pretentious though LOL

Gaga's last album was horrible... hardly anything good on it at all, which makes me said. I think it was also one of the biggest drops in the charts history (you can blame amazon for that.)

But for a second I thought I was in a madonna thread, who's newest album was just as bad. Facts right there buddies.

I hope Artpop is going to be better then her last one... have they given a release date yet?

^ Born This Way was worse than expected, but i dont think it was THAT bad. Its just that the whole era was a HUGE mess. The album had great songs and the videos and performances were very entertaining. The overhype killed the era IMO

And I think that too... I was sooooo into the hype that when I heard it i was like... what is this crap? Where is more of Born this way? where is coolness I was expecting, where is all this godliness I heard about...

So I'm not listening to any of the hype with the new album... as soon as I read something or hear it on the radio i change the channel, lol.

For me Born This Way just had too many bad tracks then good tracks for me to like the album... i had such high hopes... but not this time!! lol...

I liked Born This Way, but it's just a lot worse than her first two albums, which were truly excellent. I felt Born This Way was really bloated with a lot of half-baked ideas and muddy production. It still had some gems though, like Judas, Fashion Of His Love, Scheiße, Heavy Metal Lover, Bloody Mary.

For ARTPOP I'm just hoping for something polished. I want melodies and hooks that stick. I liked her first two albums cause they kind of stupid but smart at the same time, she had an ironic sense of humour. With Born This Way the humour was kind of lost and it just came off really pretentious.

That's exactly how i feel about BTW and her first two albums. I also LOVE Scheiße. When I worked at an anime convention the week the album came out, Scheiße was playing in my mind the WHOLE TIME XD

Haha, really? Those were the standouts for me. Marry The Night is nice too. The rest of the album was just mediocre to me. In my opinion the real turds of the album were Black Jesus + Amen Fashion and The Queen. Americano got annoying really fast too.

Surprised no one's mentioned Stache yet. I really like it, it's just her singing over Zedd's track Stache from his album Clarity. It's not on ARTPOP, but she made it to give her fans an idea of what ARTPOP might sound like, since Zedd is going to be one of the producers.

It's really catchy. "CANNABIS? CAN YOU FEED MY LOVE?"

Stache is a great song, and I don't give a damn about those lyrics. She can write whatever she likes to write because she's an artist.

And I won't even go on saying what I feel about Madge these days since this is a Gaga thread and I don't want to fight with anyone because my English sucks so bad when I try to express myself sometimes so I keep it to myself instead.

And all the sudden negativity towards Born This Way surprises me. When the album came out, everyone loved it into bits as far as I remember. Personally I'm still very into this album because I can relate to EVERY single song on the album in a way that I never expected, haha. :D This album has made me even bigger Gagastan than I already was when I overplayed The Fame Monster and The Fame. Also, some songs on the album are written about Gaga's own life and I love that.

And don't even get me started of her amazing unreleased songs that I adore to no end. :D

I'm very impatiently waiting for the ARTPOP, and I don't mind if there's two volumes coming out. More songs for me to listen♥

Stache sounds great. If ARTPOP follows that way it'll be a good album (hope xD). I didn't know it was an original song from Zedd though.

i relistened to that song, and its not as bad as I remember, its jsut the lyrics are horrible... she needs to rewrite it.

Nobody posted about her tour cancellation, and the facr she went in for surgery, and was recovering. But anyways, there's new info that Gaga's Dad has revealed: No new single until at least August/September. And his favourite song on ARTPOP is 'Burqa'.

^I had no idea about those things! Sucks about the delay for new music. I'm surprised to say I'm actually looking forward to hearing something new and worthwhile from her.

There've been two years since her last album Born This Way and I'm really curious about this new one. The only thing that bothers me is the long time we have to wait....thanks God that japanese artists are much faster when their releases.

I was wondering if they're going to push ARTPOP for autumn actually. I'm actually happy that they did because she can't really promote her album at the moment. Besides I've been waiting for this release since she confirmed it was under recording process so I can wait few weeks longer. :)
